Titans score 21 points in the 4th quarter and they're set to beat the Lions. Kickoff return, 71 yard catch, then what is technically a fumble, but what was actually Verner ripping the ball away from the receiver and running it back.

Locker with 326 yards and two scores. Johnson has 40 yards on 12 carries.

Locker's 378 yards today nearly doubled his total from the first two games of the season. He's up to 781 now, on pace for a little over 4,000. Chris Johnson has 45 rushing yards through three games on 33 carries, or 1.36 yards per attempt, and is on pace for 240 yards for the season.

Crazy game today, but the win is what matters. Houston will absolutely kill Tennessee, though.

so how many dollars per yard will that be for CJ?

no wonder the NFL owners wont go for fully guaranteed contracts... how soon can they cut him and ditch his salary?

With what they are paying CJNoK to run around the football field, they should assign him to run across the field to retrieve the kickoff tee and scramble back. All he ever does anymore is try to run laterally parallel to the line of scrimmage!

I think due to watching CJNoK, I'm really loving Kendall Wright. As soon as he gets possession of the ball he turns his hips and shoulders upfield and gains yards. Wright moves the chains!

Leaf/Titan fan coming in peace.

What a game! Anyone else emotionally drained yesterday from that 2nd half and OT?

still in awe of what happened ... a buddy of mine were watching it at the bar when the titans were up 14 & we went to another bar and saw that the score was tied, we looked at each & other and shook our collective heads

I left to go to a quick meeting with about 8 minutes left in the game, listened to the Titans score twice to seal the deal on the way there... came out a few minutes later and it's in OT... You could say I was surprised lol.

Though comparisons to the Buffalo "Music City Miracle" game are a bit of a stretch, This was a great game for sure, but to compare a week 3 game to a game (really a single play) that jump started a run to the Super Bowl...

MCM was one play in a relatively boring game.

This game however was quite possibly one of the most exciting/interesting games of ANY sport that I've EVER been to. MCM was the best moment/play in Titans history, no doubt. But this game, IMO, was the best game in Titans history.

MCM was pretty boring until the end, but it's what the game meant. The momentum from that game carried the franchise for the next two seasons.

This Detroit game wasn't all that amazing either until the last 5 minutes... Most football games are, I rank this one in the top 5 though definitely. There was also the NYG game where McNair was in obvious extreme pain, and he led the way with some great QB runs. The Houston OT game with Vince Young putting the team on his back. And the AFC Championship win over Jacksonville.

In fact for start to finish entertainment, that Jacksonville game was probably the best. The super bowl was really good in the 2nd half, but the outcome diminishes that effort.

One of the worst calls ever in the NFL. How can you blow that offensive pass interference.

That was a complete farce. It took them ten minutes to kick the PAT for a touchdown that never should have happened.

My GF does not watch football with me ever and even she thought Jennings should have been credited with the INT

Bigger fail, NHL strike, or NFL replacement ref strike.

EDIT: I'm a hockey and football fan. I've already made one call to a a suicide prevention hotline. I know understand why ESPN covers English soccer.

Roughing the passer

Defensive pass interference

Roughing the passer overturned an INT at Seattle's 20 (which is almost guaranteed to give the Packers a field goal) and defensive pass interference was a 32 yard penalty on 1st and 25. At best that's a no call, at worst it's offensive pass interference.

Offsetting personal fouls

Simultaneous possession

The biggest fail is calling them both strikes when they're actually lockouts.

Arguement could be made for your immature hipster snark as being a bigger fail. Seriously, you showed a level of eliteism that made me ask 'what part of Canada is he from?'

But credit where credit is due. You are right

Could you please elaborate on the Canada part; thanks

I don't blame the replacement officials though, i'm sure these guys are doing the best they can, it's just not going to be up to NFL standards. As much flak as the regular refs get, we should have known that some colossal blunders were coming from the replacements.

The blame lies with the league for locking out the regulars

Of course, in the bad old days when a certain bald Canadian former billionaire tried to buy the Preds and move them to the GTA. Some of us fans, like me for example, built up a callous psychological scab be cause of rather narrow minded, arrogant Canadian fans who where cheerleading the relocation of the Preds.

To say there is a rage towards those close minded mouthbreathers is an understatement.
