The movie was absolutely gorgeous. Amazingly shot.
My main complaints from my last post can be summed up by one thing: The utter ****tyness of the script.
No amount of effects, no matter how amazing, can replace a well written, intelligent, and believable script. And actors can only work with what they have been given. Everyone in Prometheus was behind the eight ball from the start.
At least I can always watch Alien/Aliens.
No love for Alien 3 or Resurrection? I mean sure, they aren't as good as the first two, but I enjoy them thoroughly.
Shake Shack sells a good burger but it's incredibly over rated, especially considering the wait time and how many comparable/better burgers you can get without waiting 45 minutes.
666 Burger ***** all over Shake Shack and would murder Shake Shacks children. If burger stands could have children.
They also get their meat from a sustainable farm in upstate NY.
I go to the original one, in Washington square park at around 4 (after school)
And I only go in the winter, or during bad weather. No line
I can't lie, I loved AVP2 as well and I know people will **** on me for that, but for some reason it was just really really entertaining to me.
The first AVP was awful. However I also enjoyed the second.

Resurrection to me was like a light version of Aliens. I didn't particularly enjoy it though.
3 on the other hand is another story entirely.
If there was ever a movie from the series that should get the remake treatment 3 is it. It was plagued by problems during filming.
Of the three scripts I read:
One takes place on earth and bares little resemblance to the rest of the series.
One of the scripts takes place in a Monastery, which was later turned into the prison used in 3.
The third was the only draft I read that had Cpl. Hicks and Bishop as main characters in 3. In this script however there was a MAJOR change to the life cycle of the Alien.
The last two are decent reads if you have the time/love the series.

Yeah i gotta say the first AVP was super disappointing, and i hate to say it, but the second one made up for it with an R rating and more violence, IMO.
I've never watch any of the Aliens or Predator movies, need to find a day to watch a good chunk of them
Oh man, dooo it. Predator isn't as good I mean i grew up in the 80's ::cough:: **** off...so I enjoy me some Arnold and it was a good change in direction from a lot of the horror movies that were being made. I like the Alien movies way way more but I like the Predator character more. The AVP movies were the only time in my life i can say I rooted for the preds.

The Predator in 2 was the Chuck Norris of Predators.

lol and yeah I don't watch too many horror movies, not b/c I am scared, but b/c I am usually bored half way through.

haha oh man I know, I was watching with my fiance, and she was wondering why i was rooting for the Predator. I had to explain that they aren't necessarily bad just super badass and misunderstood. lol
LOL HELLLLLL. Here's a story on my night. I stopped studying, played some poker from 3-6 AM in a heated battle with a Brazilian gentlemen playing heads up fast and furious. Was down but ended up up $. I was tired so I wanted food so I tried to go down stairs but after sitting down and having blood and adrenaline rushing through your system for 3 hours, you get really lightheaded so I stumbled and hit my shoulder falling back and now my shoulder is feeling like hell. Being dehydrated probably didn't help either. Anyway, uhhh... after my exam OCT.3 will be when. I get audio lectures for all my classes so I never go to class anyway. I'm planning on reading all my upcoming week's readings so I can just not worry about school until I get back and catch up in 3 days.
I'm free all day on weekends, and starting 4:30 on weekdays
No, we don't. We don't have a lot of things in Canada. It's like a Costco, US compared to your local corner store, Canada. We get the very basics and they cost a lot. You can name 5 of your favorite everyday places you love to eat at (that's not a international fast food restaurant, chipotles for example, and I will be able to tell you that Canada doesn't have at least 4 out of the 5 places you list. Who wants to have a go?!
Plus, everything costs A LOT more here. Gas is like 5.50 a gallon, a big mac combo is like 8 dollars and the menu options and overall availability of cool things is super limited. Just ask the gentleman who lives in Oakville ONT now. What sucks is we get a lot of US commercials too so it's like, oh great, $12.99 for 3 courses of deliciousness you say? Well, it's not available here unless you want to pay $32 instead.

Well, Chipotle is owned by McDonalds, so it's a bit surprising they don't have 'em in Canada. They must be in Canada, maybe not near you, but they have to be there.
Hey and some people still play DAoC. This was my first MMO, was really cool.
Man, was this a time!
Well, they made some bad things with wow (you're fully right) but there are some good things, too.
I have much fun despite not be able to go to big raids.
We'll see how this MMO ends (perhaps there will be finally a game which can win over world of warcraft )
So, I ordered a NYR neck warmer .. for next winter (SJS image below as there is no NYR one available:
Can't wait to get it (well, it's still warm here, so USPS has 2 months time to deliver it to Germany )
I don't even know what DAoc is
That neck warmer on that mannequin is creepy as hell
