I've always thought about this, thinking of Doug Lidster and Matt Cooke.
To me, the only ones that are significant are the ones the played a decent portion of their career in Vancouver before winning a cup. Guys like Messier and Tikkanen don't count.

I realized about halfway through the quiz that they were counting guys who won before playing for Vancouver. I agree with you.

Only 8 of those guys actually played at least 3 full seasons with the Canucks and then won the Cup afterwards:
Lemay
Lidster
Larionov
Mogilny
May
Cooke
Sopel
Mitchell
I have more of an emotional attachment to some guys than others ... I didn't particularly care that Cooke was on the Penguins in '09, but this year I found myself rooting for the Kings after they eliminated us for Willie's sake.
Jiri Slegr did not play with the Canucks from 1992-2004. He came back for 16 games in 2004 but the quiz implied he was here for 13 years. That one really confused me.
