Yes they did and Newcastle did not.

They get some ****** draws in this competition starting from today and going backwards

@ Manchester United (L)
--
@ Blackburn Rovers (L)
@ Nottingham Forest (W)
@ Scunthorpe United (W)
--
v Arsenal (L)
@ Chelsea (W)
@ Accrington Stanley (W)
--
@ Peterborough (L)
v Huddersfield (W)
--
v Tottenham (L)
@ Coventry (W)

8 road draws and 3 home in the last 5 seasons lol

Even in the FA Cup where they fail no matter who they go up against is most often started on the road.

Stupid draw. Time to rig it!

Arsenal buried Coventry City, as expected. Two goals for Walcott, and Arshavin scored his first in almost a year, I think. Pleased with that result.

Good game for LFC.

The Reds avenge the embarrassing defeat they suffered at the Hawthorns to open to the League campaign.

Two goals for Sahin, as well. His first two in a Liverpool shirt.

Well done, lads. Move onto this Saturday at Carrow Road and win a League match.

Speaking of League, losers Newcastle visit victorious Reading on Saturday.

Also, **** FSC for not airing Newcastle's match in the EL next week. Not even on tape delay.

Manchester United with another injury blow

Just one day after learning Vidic will be out for 2 months, Antonio Valencia was seen leaving the training ground on crutches earlier today

Soo now Vidic/Valencia/Jones/Smalling are all out .

This wouldn't be a good time to say that I hope he injured himself diving in the box against Liverpool and that it would serve him right, would it?

Karma is such a ****ing *****, ain't it, Valencia?

True...

Still, getting injured after that garbage dive that cost Liverpool at least a point... Poetic justice, whether or not it was a result of his acting job.

Arsenal takes on Reading at the Madejski, and Rodgers gets to face his old club at Anfield.

The complete fourth round draw:

Sunderland v Middlesbrough
Swindon Town v Aston Villa
Wigan Athletic v Bradford City
Leeds United v Southampton
Norwich City v Tottenham Hotspur
Liverpool v Swansea City
Chelsea v Manchester United
Reading v Arsenal

That's a good draw for the Gunners. They should be able to handle Reading.

I laughed as well. According to reports Valencia was hurt on the play which he drew the penalty. Amazing, that he was injured on a play where he dove, especially since it was to do with the foot be was nicked on .

What day? I'll probably be there.

Also 95, were you a Newcastle fan by the time of this game?

Found this in my wallet. That game was so cash.

Is that the one Newcastle blew the aggregate lead?

Le sigh

That run ended in the QF while the previous year they made it to the semis and lost to Marseille.

With 15 minutes to go, yes.

I was 6 rows off the ground right next to the corner where they piled up on the 3-1. Feels good man.

I'd tell you to mute the sound because of the Portuguese you don't understand, but the roaring of the fans is something to behold.

However, at least you have some consolation.

I'm not going to mute it. Portuguese is a cool sounding language. And I thought I might be able to understand some because of the bit of Spanish I know, but nope.

Well yeah, why wouldn't you?

This gets even funnier when I show this to English Newcastle/City fans, because I can throw in the 04 and 06 shootouts as well

Speaking of City, how the **** do you pack a stadium and not sing louder than the 1000 fans on the other side of the pitch?

This makes sense. Spanish is basically underdeveloped Portuguese because they didn't get rid of their part of the Arabic presence until 200+ years later.
