I've compared him to Erik Karlsson.

Fluid skater, good passer, BOMB of a shot, not great defensively.

Much agreed as to what he's got....as for not great defensively....I disagree. He is not a flashy defender who is going to lay huge open ice hits and defend with great effort. But positionally the guy is a beast, he is rarely out of position defensively ever. One thing I wish is he would develop a chip on his shoulder and nastiness, not cheapness, just use the body a bit more and dominate guys defensively in his zone!

Hearing rumour he is 6'2 215ish this year, put some thickness on.....

6'1", 213lbs. He is markedly bigger and in tip top physical shape this pre season....

I've only seen Pulock play 2-3 times, but Karlsson is light years ahead in the skating department. Karlsson probably has the best agility / acceleration in the world, which allows him to play the way he does. Pulock is a more cerebral type like R. Murray.

Pulock is going to be a stud. I think he will be a bigger point producer then Jones at the NHL level.

If Pulock had been eligible for 2012, where do you people think he would have ranked? 2012 was good for defence, so I'm curious

Obviously, I have never seen him play, but I do remember some posters having a debate between Dumba vs. Pulock. Could that indicate perhaps around 7-11 spot (Dumba, Pouliot, Trouba and Koekkoek were there)?

I liked him in and around the Dumba area, 1-st team all star, 3rd in D scoring in the DUb at 17, +33 and a low maintenance player....

Can't see why he wasn't taken for the Canada/Russia challenge, likely the politic behind Hockey Canada as Pulock wasn't one of their "projects" from a young age like a Dumba etc etc...

I would have had Pulock ahead of Ryan Murray for best draft eliglible Dman out of the WHL this season. In 2012, he could have easily a top 5 pick, maybe even top 2but in 2013, its a little more debatable because the draft is so much deeper at the top end.

I wonder of the Oilers would have considered Pulock with the #1 pick if he was available.

Ordered the game online. Can't wait to see him in action. All the hype I have heard, I am excited to see him in action. Hoping for some reason he falls and the Flyers get him, but knowing them they will draft a center.

IS anyone else having problems with the game on WHL.ca. It just keeps crashing.

Something has to be wrong with their website right now. It keeps going down.

I figured it out, they had the clicker at the bottom all wrong.

A lot of people have him top 10-15, but it's just looking like a very strong draft class at the moment. MacKinnon, Barkov, Jones, Monahan, Shinkaruk, Lazar, Drouin, Lindholm, Ristolainen, Rychel, de la Rose, Domi, etc., these guys are all seem to be very strong prospects. I think the depth in this draft could be similar to 2011, when excellent prospects like Couturier, Hamilton, Brodin, Murphy and Bartschi went 8th, 9th, 10th, 12th and 13th. I think a lot of people following the draft really like Pulock, but it won't be easy to make it into the top 5 this year.

Pretty goal by Bertaggia assisted by Pulock. Pulock's 5th assist of the year.

Looked great tonight.

1G, 2A +4. wheat Kings won 9-6.

His shot was really impressive. Lukas Sutter blocked one and struggled to get back up. Also scored on a nice one timer on the PP. Made a couple of mistakes, made a bad pinch on the power play that resulted in a goal against, but he had his partner back too. Overall I am really impressed with him, and enjoyed my first WHL game immensely.

He "could" outscore two WHL offensive stars, Shinkaruk and Lazar... as a defenseman...

Looks like the Blades are Strugg-a-ling.

Renagade is going to look styling sporting that Oil King's avatar for the Memorial Cup.

Kudos to Pulock and the Wheat Kings. They are off to a great start.

Still VERY early.

They can fluke out like Shawinigan did by playing against tired champion teams in the Memorial Cup.

They have the assets to go all in this year and acquire a top WHL player like McNeill or Musil from non-contenders.

Did we ever agree on that deal, 100%? I don't recall.

And yes, the Blades are struggling, but it's 3 games into the season....
