Too bad they didn't offer both patches. 20 for reg, XX for Heritage.

This is why I am going through marketing, to correct these mistakes.

Actually, if you want to be anal about it (and I usually am in all things "jerseys"), the Sens only wore the "20" patch on the red home jersey. So while it might look good on the white away jersey, they never technically wore it on the whites.

Breaks my hear to see so many fans who put the 20th anniversary patch on their heritage jerseys before the season started without knowing that they'd really never use those patches at all during the season...

That's right, it was the allstar patch that was on the heritage

Why not go pompous?

Our theme is all about Romans/Spartans/Gladiators and it can help teach kids about Roman numerals.
They didn't do roman numerals with their 10th anniversary logo. Maybe continue their trend? You give good reasons on why it would've worked out.

And each of those have the number as the focal point of the logo. The proposed Senators one didn't have the number as the focal point. Instead it looks like the regular logo with a whole bunch of fluffery added to it. It doesn't scream out 20 years. It doesn't scream out anything except that the Senators have added taupe to their colour scheme.

I really love Jerk Store's design although I feel it might be a tad too detailed.

The Senators really dropped the ball with the design they did choose.

Good for jerkstore for trying, but it is too confusing!

We are debating a 20th anniversary logo? This lockout really needs to end,

XX should have been switched with the logo. (in size and placement)

I like the one they didn't use better, but I think the colours should be the same as the logo they used or else it wouldn't look right on the home jersey (though it would look wonderful on the heritage jersey).

JS, if you get bored, could you mock up a new away jersey? I hate the fact that we share jersey styles with the penguins.

I would, but in my opinion, we should just go back to the inaugural jerseys with minor tweaks...

Would love to see those.

My favourite is the Sens black/gold jersey from the year 2000, but with the original 2D logo on it!

Quick mockup. Very little difference, striping and shoulder patch, tried something but didn't like it

I really like it!

EDIT: That said, I'll be furious if this team goes 100% away from a Red Jersey.

I love it! I'd try without the laces and with the longer collar la Minnesota Wild?

Do you guys feel it's important for the away and home jerseys to be identical?

I always liked the idea of having them be noticeably different: have the heritage become the home and go back to the pre lockout white 2d logo for the away.

I think we should hire JS to create a new red home jersey (he does this for a living and deserves to be paid) and a new white road jersey. Even if the white one is just an update.

Then we send a petition to the Sens and say "make this happen."

JS could even tell us who to send it to.

I like that one too Jerk Store.

Here are my favourites:

Not sure who did this second one up, but I like it too! Same as the first one, but without the incorporated original "S" shoulder patch.
