Yeah I didn't think he was either. Wasn't sure though so I never questioned it.

Havelid was pretty bad for us. At least in the playoffs. He was on the ice I believe when we got pinned in for a minute before Jokinen tied it up in the epic game 7 collapse against the Canes. I remember more bad than good with him on our team.

He was 09s obligatory trade deadline D man. We had Skoula the next year, and Bryce the year before. At least Zidlicky's was this years!

That's why the smart hooligan puts them in the urinal. Nobody's fishing those out without tongs or gloves.

I just now thought of something about Sykora. Maybe they're just gonna make sure they can get rid of one of the D men before signing him. Having 8 D men including Harrold will keep us from being able to carry 14 forwards not including Harrold. That is one thing I figured aside from the Tedenby/Butler performances.

he had been one of atlanta's best d-men, but really lost it his last season in the nhl. it was covered up in atlanta because he was on a pairing with enstrom but i guess he wasn't so lucky here. i am surprised he didn't get signed by an nhl team though.

I think he wanted to go overseas. I'm almost positive he signed a contract to play over there before July 1st when he could became a free agent in the NHL. I think he's still over there in the Swedish Elite League.

He wasn't abysmal with us or Kurtis Foster bad I don't think. We traded Ansi Salmella for him to you guys, and wound up getting him back in the Kovy trade anyway.

anssi was my favorite of the random thrashers d-men we had after our playoff year. beating out such favorites as cristoph schubert, freddy meyer, mark popovic and of course chelios.

Woah I forgot all about Chelios playing down there. The Thrashers were the last NHL team he played for.

I never had much of an opinion on Anssi. Someone wrote an article when he was traded that trading him was the worst move Lou has ever made. I remember him scoring in Philly right after he, and Kovy arrived. He also got knocked out as the puck was going in the net by someone, and laid on the ice for 5 minutes and I think was stretchered off.

This was one of my favorite goals from our big run in the second half of 10/11.

Or someone on the team could have done something instead of standing around watching.

Yeah, and if you watch the replay, he sized up Salmela all the way from the blue line. There's no way that was unintentional. Absolutely atrocious.

Never thought that hit was too dirty. Have a feeling that if someone like Clarkson did that to someone like Timonen, people here would be singing a different tune about its legality.

Carter sized him up from the blueline? Get real. No one even knew the play would end up in front of the net until a second or two before. Richards lost the check on the boards.

I was almost positive it was Carter, but not positive enough so I didn't wanna say it.

Someone should have went up and punked carter back regardless. Not debating the legality, just the fact no one played the role of vigilante. Sad

I'm more upset at Carter for the SCF Game 2, than I am for that hit.

I'm more upset at Parise thinking punching the puck in was a good idea.

Who is the guy asking questions that weren't really questions? That would annoy me. Cool statement bro, got a question?

I think I'd be like Pronger at interviews.
