for whatever reason that was the worst part...guy not even remotely involved gets shot. what beef could you have with that guy. Just let him go and polish yourself off in the basement like a nice unhinged psycho.

speaking of...Sons of Anarchy guy. didn't he date Katy Perry? then beat his 80 year old landlady to death, mutilated a roomates cat, bit a couple people next door and jumped off the roof. sounds like he was dusted.

Just found out my girlfriend is coming down for the weekend, through Tuesday morning. Almost been a month since I last saw her. Can't wait. Absolutely nothing planned, so it looks like it'll just be a nice, relaxing weekend. Hope everyone else has good ones too!

Also, watching 24/7 right now. Just saw this gem:

Since I'm still watching Saved By The Bell re-runs on Netflix, I thought I'd drop this little knowledge bomb...

This guy, Mikey from the first season of Saved By The Bell (Good Morning Miss Bliss)...

...was a WCHA referee.

As you were.

Yeah, we had a short meeting about that at work today. As you know, I work at the same UPS that he did and you as well. Just awful that a man can spend so many years of his life working hard and being so close to retiring, only to have it cut short by some lunatic.

Million Dollar Baby. That was deep.

Also, for anyone who hasn't yet seen Senna (the documentary), I urge you to watch it. Brilliant, brilliant stuff.

Buddy of mine met and hung out with him in Peru. Said he was a nice guy, which makes all of this that much worse.

One of my female friends said this creepy dude (who's "rapping" in the video) hit on her and gave her his youtube channel info. He was bragging about being a self-proclaimed "musical genius / producer". She didn't believe him but after she checked it out, she told me to check out his video. Oh man, couldn't be further from the truth. I'm posting this because I think you guys will get a good laugh out of it.

If this is against the rules, let me know and I'll take it down.

My bad. I was having a rough morning that day and since we haven't really communicated on here, I had no idea.

Just learned of a shooting in my hometown tonight. What reportedly started out as road rage on Hwy. 65 ended in the parking lot of the Isanti police station. One moron decided to shoot the other guy in the face. Victim was conscious as he was flown to HCMC. Hope he survives it. But I gotta say, any person who shoots someone is loco. But to do that in the parking lot of a police station? D'oh!

I see no reason for that. In true double blind tests over at Hydrogen Audio almost nobody can discern the difference between even 160 kbps MP3's compared to the original WAV files, let alone trying to get even higher quality audio.

What would make a bigger difference is upping the bits for more dynamic range and then not crushing the life out of everything with a compressor. I have noticed some artists are moving away from this trend which is awesome. But most pop/rock/rap will sound like crap anyway as it's made for computer and TV speakers.
