Quotes from Dumba about the hit (and the entire article is a good read as well).
Quote:
"I've got to me smarter and recognize and recognize when the guy's head is down," Dumba told the local media on Monday afternoon. "Now in the game, any contact with the head is illegal. That's on my behalf and this is definitely a learning experience. Moving forward, I'll be smarter.
"It's just recognizing the situation and where the player is on the ice and how he's positioned and just be smarter about how I go about approaching that. If his head is down and there is going to be any contact in the head region, I can't take that hit... it's something that you've got to judge, it'll be tough, but I certainly think that it's not something that will affect my game."

What do you guys think Shanny would've given him for that hit?
I personally thought it was clean. If the guys head is down and leaning forward, how else are you supposed to hit him? I'm guessing he's just "saying the right things", which is good too I guess.

Shanny is too schizophrenic to predict his behavior. That's why I used Campbell as an example. I don't think he'd even review the hit.

Already half way to scoring more goals than he did the entire season next year
Not that I expect him to keep up that pace but he was definitely a surprise at the prospect camp. Another 7th rounder showing promise...

Zucker could have more potential than I've imagined. He seems quite confident on the ice.

Considering not even counting Hockey Prospectus since they are terrible and don't rank goalies.

Graovac also ripped two off the post and drove the net and appeared to score but had his goal waved off. If he keeps shooting like he was today, he'll be interesting to watch this year.

Thanks for the information! Please stop by whenever you can to let us know how he is doing. All we can (to my knowledge) see is the boxscores.

I believe that Caron is now in Houston, and has been converted to wing (not sure which side). I'm fairly certain Jobke is sticking in Houston as well (although I think he's technically eligible for the CHL still).

Caron in his role as the tough guy is easier to field as a winger than taking up a defenseman slot. kind of nice that if a D goes down too they have someone else in the lineup familiar with the position.

I'm streaming the Raiders vs. Rebels if anyone wants to watch. The stream is jumpy because my computer isn't great, but it's something eh?

Great setup by Dumba on Red Deer's first goal. Haven't seen that type of PP movement with the big club in quite a while.

I don't even need to hear his name or see the number to know it's him with the puck. He's got some slick moves and that was a beautiful pass.

Rebels @ Blades coming up.

I'm a Jets fan so streams will normally favour Jets prospects and the like. If that happens to include one of your prospects I'll always post here!
