He's looking alright. Not his best game, got caught out of place on the Strome goal.

2-2, end of second period.

Not a very good start.

Too many big pieces gone from last year I guess.

Heading to this afternoon's game against Erie, who only have one win in their four games this year. Connor McDavid has 5 points so far.

Tyler Graovac with a hat-trick in the first 10 minutes of the 1st period, capped off with a SHG.

EDIT: It was more like 9 minutes.

Amazing pass/play by McDavid to find Brown to make it a 3-1 lead for the 67s.

I've seen McDavid over a dozen times, the kid is flat out amazing in nearly every aspect of the game.

Amazing speed, AMAZING vision, great shot, great moves, great attitude.

The only negative thing that I've ever seen from McDavid is that he looks shy in the corners if a team comes out hitting hard.

Is he better than Monahan? Barkov? GK?

Monahan's two years older, I'd take him over McDavid right now.

But Connor McDavid is a Grade 10 playing in the OHL, and is already the center of the teams offense. He's got the inside track on being the 1st overall pick in his draft year, and if he continues this pace he'll undoubtedly be a star in the NHL.

In the future, odds are McDavid will be a better player.

Giftopolous is proving me wrong, maybe he can actually help more than hinder.
