My first 3 games of Be A GM I lost 1-0 in each....started off 0-2-1. I believe once I get used to the slower reactions and not being able to "blow up" guys hitting like I could on 10 I will get it down hopefully.
I play on Pro with game speed 90% maxed and everything else stock and I will be around .500. What levels does everyone else play when playing CPU?
Holy bananas... I play the game with the levels as default. Just takes time to get used to. As for games, I typically do well as I am a very skilled gamer <---- rant away
I play default's too. There have been a few times in NHL 11/12 where I messed around with the gameplay settings, but didn't notice enough of a difference to keep doing it.
On my HUT against the CPU, I think I'm 12-2-1 right now, or something close to that. So I'm getting better. But I've only played 3 OTP games and 1 Online HUT game. That's it for against another human (besides shootouts)
I've found that I'm better defensively so far. Which mirrors my real life game, so it makes sense
Does a guy have to play EVERY night with this and play at same time as opponent? Because certain nights (especially weekends) I have other commitments so it may be difficult to be online at specific times. Or would one just play the CPU version of the other team's lineup?
I would really like to play but I don't want to be a pain in the rear for everyone if I am only available ~4 nights a week.

Sorry everyone! This semester has unexpectedly started out way more hectic than usual, and it hasn't quite died down the way I expected it would. I've been keeping an eye on the thread, just haven't had a chance to get on the Xbox and the boards at the same time and start cross-referencing the requests.
I also wasn't entirely sure how to deal with the drama over new posters vs. vets so I figured a little time to see who among the "lurkers who want to get more involved" actually started posting a bit. Basically that means, the 1-2 people who followed through, I accepted, and the people with 3 posts who haven't posted since they said they wanted to join, I rejected.
ANYWAY! Everything's squared away. OP is updated with the list of teams, and all pending requests on the club have been cleared or accepted. If you still really want in on this, PM me and we'll talk.
Also, any HF Wild regulars who are thinking of joining now, please take an Eastern team.
And, seriously, I'm really sorry about the delay. There's been some ****, both personal and work-related, that's made the last few weeks kind of rough for me, but I really do want to get this league off the ground and I think we should be more or less in the clear from here on.

Also, how long do you guys want the schedule periods to be? I have to advance them manually, so the hope is to basically do them once people have played the majority of their games. If you get five games per period, do we want to make the length a week? 10 days? 5 days? (I'm guessing this is something we'll want to re-evaluate once we're in the swing of things, but it's worth at least trying to figure out ahead of time.)
5 days. 1 game only takes 20 minutes. Thats my vote.
That was my original thought, but here's something worth considering: A game takes 20 minutes, but what happens when you have a week with 3 human opponents? What are the odds you'll be able to schedule a game with all 3 of them with a 5-day span?
