I simulated an entire MLS season with the Impact last night. A few obsevations: 1- Give some playing time to Wenger as he upgrades quite fast ( no brainer)2- I guess that they inspired themselves with real life injuries for the defense... It really was a revolving door with players being in and out of the lineup. I had to bring in reinforcements ( Haineault from Houston). 3- Be careful with Felipe. He is the heart of the lineup and i got great offers for him. I turned them down and i ended up losing him for nothing at the end of the year because he refused every offer from me.
It sucks that season starts on Feb 2012. Would've preferred to start in January 2013.
they have 65 million to spend. It happens sometimes. In my Career mode Dallas got taken over and had a large amount of money to play around with. Seems like it happens to a random team every offseason or so
Loving this EASFC catalogue, bought 15X1000 extra coins after fut games.. Some luck in Packs aswell, got myself this pretty sick team.. Just missing 90K for Sergio Ramos... Gona take a long time lol, aint spending $$ on packs this year, it **** me over last year
Something very weird happened with me in my career mode with the impact. I dont know if anything like this happened to you.
I just completed 1st season. At the start of the 2nd season, Di Vaio and Corradi both disappeared from my squad. And a guy named Berardi suddenly just appeared. I assume he's a regen of Di Vaio, he has same physical characteristics and is from Italy. He is described as a 19 years old youth, rated 64.
However I have never received a message saying that Di Vaio and Corradi are retiring. The only thing that appeared on the contracts list is that Di Vaio will retire when his contract expires but there was still a year remaining on his contract.
So now my team pretty much sucks and I only have 1 million to spend!
Oh and during the 1st season the board decided to sign a spanish Left Back without discussing with me, they just sent me a message saying we apologize for not letting you know but we were approached by Celta Vigo and we had to pull that deal
2014 with Impact, just signed a 75 Overall rated striker, 19 years old, free agent LOL
Another 73 overall rated, 19 years old as well + 6 foot 8 LMAO

But even if you find good free agents my weekly wage budget doesn't allow me to hire them, it's too low, even after I do some balancing between the budget and the wages it's too low. They initially gave me 1.4 millions to buy players and only 6,000 in weekly wages. I cant do much with that.

Career modes are a marathon, so in all of my manager modes, I sell every single player I have that is over 32 years old. I prefer buying Young (19-21 years old) and working through. But don't buy too low overalls. If you play with Big clubs, your young players have to have high overalls. In the case of the Impact, I got these two young 18 years old players, but they were better than most of the Starting XI Players, so they could play right away. If you play with Barca though, you gota get young players in their mid/low 80s (Ex.Eriksen/Gotze/Wilshere)
First season I sold MDV, Nesta & Ferrari early on, bought two young prospects (17 or 18 yrs old, not sure---Ward-Prowse & Vihena ). In my second season, I got lucky a 3,4Million (Euros) Budget, used it to buy a GK in mid/low 70s and centerbacks
Also play Neagle, Nyassi & Iapichino, they all grow quickly
** I normally Simulate the first season with lower club teams after buying prospects to get their overalls up, then I start playing the second season**
