I'm sorry my English is so terrible. The jumbled part was supposed to say "more games".

I'm playing for two HNA teams this year so my league fee for 2 teams (40 games plus playoffs) was a grand total of $850.

Not to mention for the second team I joined I had to pickup jerseys in which a former player sold me his for $40, had to have my name switched over to them for another $40 and tack on the cost of socks $22 for the pair.

My second team which I played for last year decided to go w/ a 3rd jersey for this year, $95 for the jersey, $10 for the socks. We have been skating since the end of August at about $10-$15 a pop.

Needless to say my fiancee is ready to kick me and my hockey stuff to the curb. LOL

Mine is $4200 / team for 18 games, 1 guaranteed playoff game, non-check, 2 Refs, scorekeeper, 15 minute periods, 5 min OT, plus shootout if needed. We have 14 regulars and don't make the goalie pay, so its $300 each. League runs Sept to March. We also do Spring/Summer (April to August) with the same # games, cost, etc.

The place we play has 4 rinks, so there are plenty of slots each week. Fall/Winter is tougher because the kids take up most of the ice till at least 8:30, so the earliest we get games are 8:45 and the latest being 11(those are brutal). Week days mostly, but we'll have an occasional weekend. Spring/Summer isn't as bad. I don't think we started more than once after 10:15 this past summer.

There are A, B, C, Over 40 and Novice levels with many teams at each level so you aren't stuck playing the same 2-3 teams all the time. I play in Novice, but the guy in charge of scheduling will give us games with some of the lower C teams to see how we are progressing. My team is all over the place. We have a few guys that play on other C teams and others who are still learning and then a group including me who are in the middle.

I put it this way, "Honey look, I'm trying to play as much hockey as I can before we get married next summer. After that will come kids and bigger responsibilities in which I won't have as much time to play a-lot of hockey. Let me enjoy it while I can"

Recently signed up for AHA in Twin Cities, MN... $440 as a free agent, 20 games, stop clock (don't remember how long). I'm guessing uni's may be extra but not totally sure.

Love my league, $780 for 56 games (48 season, 8 playoffs). Periods are 15 run, 15 run, 10 stop. Awesome being able to play that many games in a season!

8 Team league, 14 players per team. We get maybe ~10 new guys each year, the rest all returning. Teams are drafted every year so eventually you end up playing with most of the guys at one point or another and get to know most guys in the league on some sort of personal level which is pretty cool.

~$9,000 per team, 22 games plus playoffs, about $600 per player. Usually about 165 teams in our league.

Fall season: 12 games + playoffs (lose and go home), 3 hour-long practices - $1500.

For the summer season we played in 2 divisions. We won them both (oddly enough the lower div. was much tougher) but due to player availability we only signed up for the lower one for fall. They offered us a deal to sign up for the higher one again at only $500 for the same amount of rink time. We scrapped together our best players and plan to have most of them available for every game, but will round out the lineups with random plugs when necessary. Anyway, $500 was too good of a deal to pass up for that amount of games!

In my league is about $600 a player (say, 14-15 players on the team), for 20 games + 1-4 playoff games.

****ing rip off when reading some of the responses here.

Thats great with so many games, but really, two period of running time? Then just 10 minutes stop? Thats horrible and wouldnt be fun at all for me. I'd rather they cut out 15 of the 56 games and just go with 3, 15 minute stop periods.

That's a pretty good way to run a league. I'm sure that since everyone knows one and other to some degree it lowers the rate of ********. Considering there was a fight in the handshake line at my rink a few weeks ago, I'd love to cut down the BS.

It's $420 for team pay but requires the $50 USA Hockey registration. 17 min periods. Uniforms are handled by the team. Playoffs for the upper four teams only, usually round robin and then the top four teams single game elimination from there.

I play in 2 leagues.

$240 - 11 Regular Season Games + 2 Playoff Games -- Three 18 minute periods running time, stop time the last 10 seconds of each period and the last 2 minutes of the third if the game is within 2 goals. Two refs every game. 13 skaters per team.

$210 - 11 Regular Season Games + 2 Playoff Games -- Running Time 60 minutes, no periods, just 60 minutes from puck drop until the final buzzer, we never even switch sides. One ref every game except the championship game is two refs. 12 skaters per team.
