Yeah, could have been stronger when he was out there in the last minute by what can you do, the whole team was ineffective getting across the blueline.

Yea I was at the game I was fully expecting you guys to come out with a win, Puemple, Faksa, Rieder were invisible out there the whole game, Thought the spits had a very solid Game but I think our win came mostly because The Rangers weren't playing at the level that they can play at.

Kitchener really had never been great against teams that play tight defensive styles, Spott and DeBoer (Despite what DeBoer does in the NHL) were always run-and-gun type of guys and the defense the Spitfires play just shuts it's down. It's like when Kitchener played Missasauga teams under Cameron, so frustrating, because all you need to do is change your style a little bit and you get get through.

I hope it's just the adjustment phase to a bunch of new faces, but the Rangers have yet to hit their stride and play a very good game yet this year over the course of 9 games counting the pre-season.

Despite being 2-1, aside from some flashes of zone control and pressure versus Sarnia, they really haven't got out of 1st gear and have looked quite average.

No news but not to knock him out of the gates...but Hanes has not impressed and bring what an OA D should be bringing. Maybe its still early but was expecting more and not rookie give away mistakes it looks like he has been having. If he stays hopefully he turns it around....quick!

Faksa was certainly noticeable out there for me. He was good but was working alone out there as Puempel was out of sync and Rieder got pushed around too much

Finally caught my first Rangers game on TV here last night. A win would have been nice.

We play London tonight yes?

Yep. Don't delay, get your hate on early in the season!

They have to play better than they did last night, but having Gibson in net helps. If they're going to lose a game this weekend, I'm fine with it being vs Windsor. Just win tonight.

Due to the Sieloff's hit, Bailey will no longer take part in the All American prospect game this weekend

I'd like to see a win, but considering how we've looked so far, I'm not expecting it. London scored 16 goals in 2 games. We haven't scored 5 on 5 yet. We couldn't score against two predicted bottom dwellers and lost to a rebuilding team who shouldn't have home ice in the 1st round of this year's playoffs. I'm just hoping Gibson keeps it close.

Spott has much work to do to get us to where we were last year - let alone to being a top contender.

I think this one gets ugly. 6-2 Knights.

If London keeps "falling" they way they have, Kitchener's PK will get all kinds of opportunities to work.

Come on boys, just win. I don't care how. I don't care by how much. Just don't let these green ******** win.

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Gibson was AMAZING. Still need to score 5 on 5, but at least the special teams are clicking well.

That sucks so much for him. Hopefully he'll be back on the ice soon.

Gibson was too good tonight..

He's the reason Kitchener won the game.. Must have made 3 or 4 big saves in the first and about 10 more throughout the game

I like this. I hope Gibson keeps it up. I swear, unless he puts up supernatural numbers he'll never get the respect he deserves. People still think guys like Campbell are better.

I've seen both extensively now and I'm not sure how anyone still makes that argument. Gibson is as good as I've seen in two decades in this league.

I agree and if I was to compare he's more like mason was in the ohl gibby takes games over with how solid he is

That's not really the point. Gibson is the better goalie in the OHL yes, but that doesn't make him the better prospect.

Give me Mike Murphy over John Gibson.

Why? Murphy had better OHL numbers, had more team success as well. How are we supposed to judge these two goalies then?

It's ok not to be a homer at times it's no different than the guy who said Ryan Murphy was the most dynamic CHL defenseman in the last 20 years even better than Ryan Ellis. Of course Murphy doesn't even have close to the accolades of Ryan Ellis.
