Does Joe Namith still bother with this franchise seeing how much of a circus it has become?

IIRC, the reporter and Bart have a history, but the reason here is hardly one to cause a scene over imo.
For a second I thought that said "Dan LeBatard", and what came to mind was "let Bart Scott kick his stupid ass".

Bart Scott hasn't been talking to the local media or beat writers and Leberfeld said he's doing a story on that. On Wednesday, Scott spoke to one reporter and Leberfeld took a picture of them. Apparently this pissed Scott off and he started yelling and swearing at Leberfeld. Today, Scott spoke to an ESPN reporter and once again Leberfeld decided to take a picture of them during the interview even after Scott didn't appreciate him doing it on Wednesday.

I don't think it's something to get pissed off about and I'm not trying to defend Scott but why would the reporter do the exact the same thing two days later? Scott already let him know he didn't like it the first time. IMO, they're both idiots.

Who is the bigger joke right now, the Jets or Namath? I would say it's pretty close.

I actually like LeBatard but I'm sure he has been threatened many times. All he does is talk **** about athletes who don't play for Miami/Florida sports teams.

I suggest the Jets put Tim Tebow at cornerback to replace Darrell Revis. Nobody can keep the football away from receivers like he can.

Why do the Jets deserve their own thread here? Have you all been warped by ESPN so much, you really think they deserve so much attention like Sportscenter did during training camp?

The reason this thread exists is because there were multiple threads ripping on the Jets and their bloated media coverage, aka criticizing the exact thing you talk about in your post. This is the all-purpose "make fun of the Jets' circus" thread.

With competition heating up at practices, Jets coaches and players confirmed Thursday that the ground was quickly emerging as quarterback Tim Tebow’s favorite target and had already received 90 percent of the third-year player’s passes during the first three weeks of training camp.
This is not a good time to be playing the 49ers.

Cromartie says he's now the NFL's top cornerback

Quote:
08:05 AM ET 09.28 | Cromartie Island? Six words spilled out of Antonio Cromartie's mouth, six one-syllable affirmations that Darrelle Revis' season-ending knee injury didn't change this fact, in his mind: The Jets still have the best cornerback in the NFL. It's Cromartie. With Revis Island closed for business for the rest of the season, Cromartie told the Daily News Thursday that he is now the best in the business at his position. How many cornerbacks other than Revis are better than him? "None." You're saying you're the second-best corner in the NFL? "Yup." Really? "Yup." You believe that? "Yup." You're better than Nnamdi (Asomugha)? "Yup." Were you better than Nnamdi two years ago? "Yup."

Rex Ryan says the New York Jets are not ready to place star cornerback Darrelle Revis on season-ending injured reserve in case he recovers from a torn knee ligament in time to play in the Super Bowl.

Ryan said Friday that if there's a "0.0002 percent chance" Revis, who tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee last Sunday, can come back and play and "if you are fortunate enough to get there, why not give Revis the option

Jets shouldn't try to pull any stunts with Revis. Their season was never going to go anywhere anyway.

Also, its absolutely laughable that Cromartie is calling himself the best. Christ....

I mean this as no disrespect to the Jets, but they better be prepared for tomorrow. Hell hath no fury like a Harbaugh angry.

I don't get that either seeing that Holmes is the kind of player I could see demonding a trade at somepoint in the nesr future and others wouldn't blame him for doing so.

Sanchez is getting worse

Mine as well let Tebow have shot ,, Sure he sucks but either it will light fire under Sanchez or finally get NY Media/fans to shut up about Tebow
