Well, the one upside to my Browns blowing their second first round pick on Weedon this year - perhaps they'll get the #1 overall and draft Geno.

My only fear is that management will have enough of Sherman, fire him and the replacement will figure out that Richardson is really, really ****ing good and maybe, just maybe he should hand it off to him more than 10-12 times a game and they'll win enough to finish with the 3rd-5th pick again.

Need to pick 3. I think it's obvious but appreciate different opinions.

Marshawn Lynch @ STL
BenJarvus Green-Ellis @ JAC
Willis McGahee vs. OAK
Adrian Peterson @ DET

Vick projected at 20.25 on Yahoo! today... Not sure how he's going to put up those numbers from the sideline after the first quarter

Sanchez is awful.

Alex Smith is only a smudge better.

If the Jets had any sort of offense, they'd be winning this game.

I honestly don't even blame Sanchez for all of it. The Jets have no stud receivers and the forcing of these Tebow plays is not helping.

The 9ers are not the best team in the league. People need to stop saying that they are.
Their offense is not good enough. They have weapons but Smith sucks.

Now if they had signed Peyton......

My issue with Sanchez: Why isn't he throwing his helmet after that laughable drive? Why isn't he showing some frustration? I mean, when this guy is bad (and he's been brutal today), why doesn't he get angry?

Whenever Eli makes a bad play you KNOW he's mad. You see it in his face. Then he's on the sidelines talking with his O-line, his WRs, etc. Whoever screwed up (if it wasn't him) is told what they did wrong and what they can do right

All I do is see Sanchez slink off the field and then show very little anger on the sidelines (if any). Sometimes he's even smiling when the team is down.

I don't get it.

Eli has earned the respect of his teammates. Sanchez hasn't. If you don't have the respect, throwing you're helmet, you look even worse (see Cutler, Jay)

If they're not going to try Tebow now, when will they?

The thing is, I think his lack of emotion is one of the key reasons he has no respect. The guy is clearly no leader in the locker room. Mr. Sunshine should've stayed in college and learned a bit.

Also, very classy move to not score and rub it in there. Love seeing that.

Devils advocate: we used to kill Eli for lack of emotion - turns out that was one of his best assets.

If the Jets truly believe that Sanchez is there QB moving forward, they need to surround him around guys that will follow him. Eli didn't truly emerge until the likes to Tiki and Shockey were gone.

Trying to be a ground and pound team when you don't have the personnel to play that way doesn't help either.

As a Giants fan I would have liked to see the Panthers win. But I love seeing Newton lose.

I'm only worried about our division. Not byes or wild cards yet. If we lose today we're behind and losing tiebreakers. If we win we're in better shape although its likely that Dallas will beat Chicago on monday.

Granted, now we praise him for showing it. It took Eli a LONG time to turn into a leader, so Sanchez still has time. But his attitude . . . Just bothers me. Even as a Giants fan I just see him and it makes me mad that the dude just seemingly doesn't care.

And I absolutely agree with the rest of the post. Surrounding him with morons like Holmes will not help him out at all.

Did anyone watch the Falcons comeback? That was just downright incredible. Trapped on the one and then winning by a FG with 40 seconds left? Unbelievable.

His throwing ability bothers me. The jets have 2 QBs neither of which is an accurate passer. They should invest in a guy who can throw that isn't 40 years old.

Showing emotions is one thing, what you do and say on the sidelines or in the locker room is another.

Cam showed a lot of emotions two weeks ago. So what?

I think the media - and fans to a degree - are to blame with all this "Eli is too robotic and lifeless" crap that has been spewed.

The media likes drama and stories. Eli isn't a story unless he is on the football field winning games.

He doesn't date supermodels, drive fancy cars to big red carpet events. He doesn't talk smack, so much so that just saying he thinks he is a top QB becomes one of the stories of the season in the NFL.

Happy to trade you Brandon Weeden. He's only 28.

I like Weeden but drafting a 28 year old middle-tier QB in the first round... not good for a building franchise. Sure, he is ready to be a starter. But when you go QB in the first round, you want a guy that can give you 15 years, not seven.
