Sigh. Preaching to the choir, brother.

Honestly, I wish they'd just gone with McCoy for one more year and taken a defensive player with that pick. Then, draft the QB in the first round in 2013. Meh. May wind up doing the second part anyway.

If the Jets ever want to compete again without those elite 09/10 defenses, they need to get rid of Sanchez.

They'll never go anywhere with him.

That's too easy to say. They're not a QB away from contending.

They need to go through a complete rebuild, really.

If I am Barkley or Smith, I would refuse to sign with Cleveland and pull an Eli.

It would be pulling more of an Archie, but that's not a good thing to kick off your career with. Lindros ran into a little karma for what he did.

The Browns deserve it. That franchise is so poorly run that whoever is up there would be smart to hold out. I would never sign with that team as of right now.

Looking to watch the Giants game tonight on my Xbox. Anyone have some info for me as to how I can? (Without spending 300 dollars for a whole season)

It's on NBC. The NFL won't have it on Xbox, the TV coverage belongs to NBC. Watch it on NBC, you do have a television, correct?

Smith and Barkley can be Eli and Rivers. Though neither one should sign with Cleveland.

Really wish Hakeem was playing tonight. Can't help but feel a little nervous. Hope the Justin Tuck of old shows up and reintroduces himself to Mike Vick.

Oh my god my team is taking a complete **** on me in fantasy this week. Probably the worst fantasy week ever recorded, pending Manning/Cruz

Not too mad though, because the kid I'm playing is putting up a crazy week. Would rather have this than have 100 points myself and still be losing...

Really? I don't agree that the Browns deserve anything - they have been through enough over the last 25 years - but I hear you about the current management. Having said that, bear in mind that they have a new owner this year. Unfortunately, the sale only closed just before the season started, so it's not like he had a chance to make any changes for the 2012 season.

So, there actually is plenty of reason why a 1st overall rookie QB would have plenty of reason to sign with the Browns:

- Hopefully there will be a new regime next year (Brian Billick as coach maybe?).

- They have one of the best fanbases in all of sports.

- They have a bunch of good, young, special players (2 of the best, Haden and Taylor are both out until midseason) to build with.

- Trent Richardson is freaking awesome (why Sherman the idiot only runs him 10-12 times a game, I have no idea).

They've simply never had a good quarterback since they came back to the league. If they actually finally have a chance to get one (much rather Geno than Barkley), it would actually be a good situation to step into.

That will not work unless Holmgren and all other management go. Way too many egos on that team right now.

Oh, no question. That is most definitely what I'm hoping for.

Phase 1 (this year): draft Richardson, sell team.

Phase 2 (next year): replace entire front office, draft Geno Smith.

Phase 3: profit.

Geno Smith is going to be an amazing QB if he's brought along right. It was a treat watching him in person so many times last year.

Once again, nobody asked the Giants last year how it felt to play against the Packers AND the refs in both games. The Pack is full of whiners.

****ing sick of the Packers. Sad to see them win.
