Granted, Sanchez is not the most accurate quarterback in the world. Still, the Jets' lack of talent at skill positions (and on the roster in general) is striking. I don't think replacing Sanchez with an even less accurate QB is going to help matters. The Jets were overmatched today. Houston is coming in next Monday night. Ruh-roh.

The best thing about Sanchez being a joke now is that the talk about him and the trade down in that draft that allowed the Jets to take him has all but died on various Browns sites. Content with Weeden.

Geno Smith or Barkley will be a Brown next year.

No. We need a receiver in the worst way. Or more secondary help.

Weeden is fine.

I disagree on the latter but agree on the former.

Your draft plan should be:

1. Geno Smith --> trade something to get another 1st round pick
1. Stedman Bailey

Then you will be OK.

Sanchez has always been bad.

His teams success hid this fact.

The Browns can skip on Geno, he'll just go to KC or Oakland

Imagine him with Oakland

I know Holmes got hurt but him just throwing the ball away is comical.

Others will argue that severe pain brings an involuntary reaction.

The jets are 2-2 but they beat a pair of lower tier teams and have been smashed and bullied in their losses. I expect a circus in NYC.

The best part of the Jets train wreck was hearing how angry the callers were that called in on local post-game shows. They aired a few clips on NFL Network. I was dying.

It'd be one thing if this was one game where Sanchez was below 50% passing, but he's been below 50% the whole season so far. That doesn't qualify him as a good QB right now regardless of circumstances.

Regardless it was still funny. (Not the injury)

And people probably are/will be calling for Tebow. But why replace one <50% with another? They're probably better off putting in McElroy, or better yet bring back Brunell!

Just tank for Geno Smith or a prominent collegiate QB

If we thought Tebow in NY was bad, imagine the hype train if Geno Smith joined the team.

Jets are the kind of team that is bad enough to miss the playoffs, but just good enough to go 7-9 or 8-8. I can't see them getting that high of a draft pick.

? the Cards are 4-0 with wins over the Pats, 3-1 Philly, Miami and Seattle. They should make the playoffs fairly easily. Kolb has played pretty well this year.
