He also said the game was over after the second touchdown.

We're 2-3 right now because we were 1-3 at halftime.

Meh, I thought 1-3 was possible as well. Then they collectively woke up and dominated like we all knew they could. I love how some who were saying they may lose (me included) are now getting their posts quoted and basically being called out for it. I'm sure those doing this remained extremely level headed that entire first half and knew what the outcome would be.

I was not calling the game over at the half.

So ill quote all I want.

Also being into/upset during the game is very different from calling it over like an internet chicken little.

I believe I threw a "1-3" post in here because they looked quite awful in the first half, and at 21-7. Kudos for staying true, Mike.

Great performance. Man Buffalo is hit or miss so far this year. Two weeks of looking great and two absolute duds, which happen to both be division games too for them.

Thank you for saying this.

I fully admit that I had them losing after the 2nd Buffalo TD. They absolutely stunk up the joint in the first half. The second half was beyond awesome. The I told you so crap is hilarious. Must be nice to have a crystal ball.

Thanks for shanking that kick Hartley. Could have used those points in my fantasy matchup. I dislike kickers strongly today.

Strawman alert!

I'm sure everyone was worried. I'm sure no one was confident they'd absolutely win.

But when you want to be the first to scream IT'S OVAH! then deal with being called out on it.

Or did you all hate Thornton's "Suck it Felger?" Of course not.

Also, wah.

My earlier "1-3" post was also before the fumble recovery by Vince. That post really should have read "1-3 if they keep making foolish mistakes like fumbling and shanking chipshots." Guaranteed 85% of us felt that way. Just glad they won now, I'll take being called out in this case because they won. I'd much rather that then call them losing and be part of the "i told you so" bunch because them being 1-3 and being right about it would suck.

Hell, I even called myself out-who cares. Those who didn't say it was over, or at least claim they felt that way-congratulations. You are now validated by all as true, unwavering fans no matter what. Hats off to you.

Not really aiming this at you either Mike, just people in general who are doing this today. It's all over Facebook (always a hilarious place for sports analysis), as well as my text messages. Lots of backtracking today from a lot of people claiming it was "OVAHHH".

Whatever, whether you posted/though the game was over, who cares. We were all nervous after they started to slump, and if we overreacted, whatever...

At the end of the day, we got a big win, and the Jets and Dolphins lost. We're tied for the top, and hopefully the Ws will start coming a little easier now. Big game against Denver next week, but we can definitely win.

Our two losses were by 2 points and 1 point. I'm sure Brady is pumped to make Peyton's comeback special.

I'll admit, I do truly enjoy when panicky, knee-jerk, reactionary posts get quoted, and called out.

You said it, you own it. Man up,fer chrissakes, and quit the whimpering.
Maybe wait until halftime next time . . .

man, another day at the office for the Pats in terms of putting more accolades into the history books. "The Bills gave up 580 total yards, the most in franchise history in a home game. They allowed 45 points in the second half, the most in a half in team history and fourth all-time in the NFL."

Also, I think Belicheck moved ahead of Knox on the all time wins list, into 8th. And how about them Pats not losing 3 games in a row for like 10 years now... That's pretty impressive.

I thought they were cooked also at 21-7 and was getting ready to get my 'Excuse Book Out....anyone catch Brady sitting on the bench at the end of the game say to Welker 'we scored 45 points in this half'

As for the game- I can't believe I, and probably many others know more than the Buffalo coach and defensive coordinator about planning the Patriots.

What a horrible scheme or game plan.....going with a 4-1-6 against Brady and company. I guess with Mankins out Gailey figured he could get pressure with 4 rushers and Brady would get the ball out quick and he'd have a dime package of DB's to cover. wtf

really? if there is anything we have learned over time its play the Patriots with a base defense and DONT or RARELY blitz and hope you can get pressure with four guys or you have good coverage in the other seven.

Take Brady's freaking brain out of this and just make him execute or overthink- this sub package **** against him gives him a hardon Giselle couldn't handle. When he is on and can look at what you are giving him then forget it- which makes the Arizona Offensive coordinators comments all the more hilarious. And the Cardinals played a base because they have a good front 7.

The two best defenses in football are on the horizon SF and Houston. That should be interesting but with health the Patriots should be the ultimate match

Boomer the Rangers lover coming on WEEI in 5 minutes- great stuff

at half time I thought the Patriots had the advantage big time after that fumble by Buffalo.

At this level- or any level and life for that matter- its so much between the ears and that was such a downer to Buffalo and a huge dodge for Patriots.

Now after the 3 and out and the Buffalo score I thought we were in serious crap.

I also thought the Canadiens would sweep the Bruins in 2011 after winning first 2 in Boston

I thought the Red Sox could play the Yankees 100 games and not win even 1 game after being down 0-3 in 2004

I had the Patriots at 1-15 in 2001 after starting 0-2 that season and 5-11 previous year

in all three situations Championships followed with weeks to 4 months
