Granted, Sanchez is not the most accurate quarterback in the world. Still, the Jets' lack of talent at skill positions (and on the roster in general) is striking. I don't think replacing Sanchez with an even less accurate QB is going to help matters. The Jets were overmatched today. Houston is coming in next Monday night. Ruh-roh.

The best thing about Sanchez being a joke now is that the talk about him and the trade down in that draft that allowed the Jets to take him has all but died on various Browns sites. Content with Weeden.

The best part of the Jets train wreck was hearing how angry the callers were that called in on local post-game shows. They aired a few clips on NFL Network. I was dying.
It'd be one thing if this was one game where Sanchez was below 50% passing, but he's been below 50% the whole season so far. That doesn't qualify him as a good QB right now regardless of circumstances.
Others will argue that severe pain brings an involuntary reaction.
Regardless it was still funny. (Not the injury)

And people probably are/will be calling for Tebow. But why replace one <50% with another? They're probably better off putting in McElroy, or better yet bring back Brunell!
Jets are the kind of team that is bad enough to miss the playoffs, but just good enough to go 7-9 or 8-8. I can't see them getting that high of a draft pick.

? the Cards are 4-0 with wins over the Pats, 3-1 Philly, Miami and Seattle. They should make the playoffs fairly easily. Kolb has played pretty well this year.
