As for the fight, he lost, but still did fine for a finesse player.
I felt it was a draw....the young man he fought has had plenty of tussles playing in BC.....

Did well, stepped up. Couldn't see the entire fight, but a draw based on what I see.

The kid has underrated strength. I remember saying I was surprised how big he was at the draft combine.

I could watch this kid skate for days. His skating is just so smooth and his top speed is incredible.

The fight looked like a draw IMO.

IIRC he had very high scores at the combine in a lot of categories.

Such a powerful skater. He went crazy on Walker after he got right back up throwing 3 solid blows. Also loved to see his whole team sticking up for him. The one MJ player saw he was in a fight and immidiately came to help but the poor guy was clobbered by Rielly, an the refs trying to take him down

his play in his own end is not a worry, its very underrated, it needs some work, but its already good. this kid could be elite. as u mentioned, he can play with an edge,

there had to be a reason why burke put him as one of 2 call ups if season happens, I think he knows he is nhl ready, its just that he missed an entire year of development.
He could get a call up for training camp but it would be better if he plays for canada and keep developing.

Our D is going to flat out fly with Rielly and Gardiner back there.

I think Blacker won the Fastest skater in the OHL ASG a few years ago. Those 3 plus Gunnar = one extremely mobile top 4 Defense.

EDit: Kind of like the type of Defense you would need to keep up with Nail, Hall, RNH and Eberle in the SC Finals...

Oh ya, I'm a dreamer. :p

What I loved most about that clip is he received a pretty good hit and bounced back up in a second.

Given his style of play, it's good to see he's willing to take a hit or two to create a scoring opportunity.
the pretty good hit must be on another clip? you can't mean that little shove he got when going to the net...

I'm also happy to see Rielly standing up for himself and in my opinion that shows character not having someone else fight your own battles.

The kid has to learn to stop punching when the refs are breaking up the fight. Only punchesMorgan landed was between the refs.

Uuuuummmm, No! If he wants to throw bombs until he's all punched out then more power to him. As long as he ain't punching a guy while he's down then go for it! Showed alot of heart and didn't back down. That is what I like to see from our prospects. Good on him!!!! Plus camera breaks away for a few seconds there so it is hard to tell all that happened!

No, but it can be viewed as sucker punching as the other guys might not necessarily expect blows to come from behind the ref. Whatever, if you think it's a classy way of dropping the mitts then so be it.
