Glad to see Hudon and Vail having so much success presently. I do hope Gally will break out soon, but Sarnia seems to have a pretty weak team.... I am right ? Right now, Grigorenko looks like a milion bucks in QC...
Grigorenko clearly has ridiculous talent. But so does Galchenyuk. The difference right now is that Galchenyuk is wiring his shots over the net or wide. The velocity is nuts. Its safe to say that Gally is a much more astute defensive player. Just wait for Gally's shots to start going in.
Grigorenko is one of the smartest players I've seen play junior. If you ask him to drive a line by himself, he won't do it as he always think about passing first, not shooting. But if you make him play with goal scorers who can finish his plays, he's going to rack up a lot of assists.

Everyone should be preparing themselves for the fact that Grigorenko will probably outscore Galchenyuk this year. Which means nothing in the long run, of course, but I'm sure that won't stop some people from whining about how Timmins ****ed up.

Not to play forum police or anything, but if we locked the Vail thread, shouldn't we do the same for all the other prospect threads, and perhaps keep the Gally thread open?

I don't think Timmins ****ep up. But other GMs surely did.

I think I agree.
I'll also keep the Collberg one open since we have posters from other forums coming in to keep us updated but Vail/Hudon/Bozon/etc can be discussed in the CHL prospects thread.
