Each series of posts of his devolves into an unfunny attempt at trolling.
shooting percentage:
jonathon toews: 15%
patrick kaleta: 9.9%
a negligible difference
hits:
toews: 162 in 361 games
kaleta: 413 in 267 games
HUGE difference. very warriorly, one might say.
and, as i already explained, he's tuggnut-esque in his glide. i couldnt find any stats to substantiate this, but anyone who has seen kaleta skate live knows he has the skillset of the Tugger.
wheres the trolling? these are just my opinions, expertly backed up with hard evidence. problem?
lol at 5% shooting being a negligible difference. That's like saying there's no difference between a 15% power play and a 10% one. Especially considering one guy has almost 1000 shots against better competition, the other has 250 shots against worse lines. And offense is more about scoring goals. Toews can pass the puck, win faceoffs, backcheck. If Kaleta becomes STEVE OTT it'll be an accomplishment.
Yeah Kaleta runs around and hits guys, yippee...so does Cam Janssen.
Attempting to make fun of my statistical bent by using garbage stats such as hits is pretty hilarious though. What's next, blocked shots and giveaways?

I don't think he realizes the difference between 10% shooting and 15% shooting is actually a pretty massive 50% difference.
i dont want him to be as defensive as toews. plus, youre comparing a center to a wing, the latter has much less defensive responsibility. put kovy on a line with zajac, and youre set. we dont need 2 zajacs on the same line. as nice as that sounds, our GF totals would dip.
also- 1)i couldn't care less what chicago fans think, not sure of that statement's relevance and 2) not out to prove anything to anyone. toews and kovy are 2 great players, and any team would be lucky to have either. my preference is kovy, yours is someone else.
Goals for? I thought we were the devils, we have the lowest goals for per win ratio since golf
They're not going to trade him at all. I can't imagine any scenario where Lou picks up the phone and calls the Blues, asks if Tarasenko is available, and he doesn't get the immediate response of "**** off". They certainly won't be shopping him either, because they consider him to be a future core piece. Yes, any player can be traded, but there has to be a logical progression for how the trade is proposed, tweaked, and completed, and a sensible one does not exist for Tarasenko.
Do people realize that Tarasenko is touted as one of the best prospects in all of hockey? Now from what I`ve heard, I personally don`t think he should be touted as such, but (even if true) that still doesn`t change the fact his trade value is sky high at the moment and won`t go down easily/anytime soon.
