, this period I'm needing to play:

Montreal,
Buffalo,
Carolina,
Boston,
Winnipeg,
Nashville.

I'm hoping to be able to get all the games in this month, and I'm pretty open this whole week, so send me a pm guys when you think you'll be free to play.

Look, you like the short-side wrist shot. Fair enough. I like to shoot too, so I won't begrudge you that.

But the Hossa goal was a glitch, and not a new one. We know that a curl, drag, and shoot on the goal-line goes in more times than not. It has since some time last decade.

Is that really a glitch goal? Now I feel bad the like 3 times I scored along the goalline against people ;[

Not if it is an accident, or a straight shot, in my opinion.

But the intentional curl and drag + shot? I don't know. It's cheezy, at minimum

He would have beaten me anyway--probably 10 out of 10 times. He was clearly the better player.

It just wasn't really necessary. Work your powerplay and get a real shot. Or take a normal wrister and try for a rebound.

Yea I guess if there was the curl, I don't know. I'm pretty bad at the game so I just straight shoot from everywhere and hope for the best, haha.

Oh I'm truly awful--particularly on offense.

Like I said, he liked sniping the top corners from just inside the blue-line, and I can't really fault him for that, since I don't have much else in strategy myself. When he wanted to work the passes for a scoring chance, he did. That's what made that goal so strange. It was like 15 seconds into a PP. He set the play up in the corner, just so he could do it.

Something strange just happened.

I thought I had camera set to "always up"--and I had the controller set to always up. In my game against the Rangers, my lines were reset, and apparently so settings. I tried setting the visual settings to always up, but it didn't take...which would be a problem, except apparently you can't change your controller settings in game.

As a result, up = down for the 1st and 3rd. So a snap shot resulted in a wind-up, and a slap-shot required me to push forward then pull back on the stick--while the camera was coming "in" toward my offensive zone.

I just don't have that kind of skill.

Ah well, lesson learned: Keep controller set to "camera relative."

Yeah, but I just asked him to message me if he wanted to play later, he didn't even message me to say he was busy.
And he kept on playing versus/otp for an hour+ after I sent it.

Just a little courtesy I ask for.

You couldn't have sent one message after your game was done saying "I'm busy playing club"?
I've done that in the past when GMs want to play me.

Pardon me, I figured anyone with common sense would understand that someone playing other modes wouldn't be available for a GM connected game.

So if someone is playing any other game mode, they definitely don't want to play gm connected? Got it.
I'll be sure to never play any other game mode when I want to play GM connected games. Just sit in the hub and stare at the screen.
