Maybe someone can help me out. I have traded for some promising prospects. I want to move youth in and the veterans out. I sent down Gomez on waivers to make room. I am also 15 million under the salary cap. Now I want to call up players and I have too many players on my NHL roster, that is no big deal. I try to send down some scrubs but it says I can't because of salary reasons. I am stuck right now.

Three Stars:
1) Luongo 1.00 GAA, .978 SV%, 46 SA
2) Kassian 2G, +/- 2
3) Weise 2A, +/- 2

1st period:
19:38 Henrik won the faceoff back to Hamhuis who scored clean on a two man advantage
2nd period:
5:50 Hemsky put home a rebound from a Savard shot
17:34 Thomas bobbled a shot from Weise, and Kassian sneaked it under Thomas' pads
3rd period:
16:10 Kassian snapped a shot from the top of the circles and beat Thomas
19:33 Kesler topped it off by receiving a pass from Higgins and tucked the puck past Thomas

Absolute domination by Cjb all game, and he really deserved a better fate... Any other day and with a little luck he scores on about 3 or 4 open nets that his guys missed on

Nathan Horton's Final Game:
BOS: 3 CAR: 2 F/OT
GOALS
J. Jokinen (2-3) PPG BOTH
G. Campbell (2)- A. Ference
M. Lucic (3) (P. Hornqvist, J. Boychuk)
D. Krejci (1) OT
THREE STARS
1. J. Jokinen 2G 0A
2. T. Rask 25 SVS
3. D. Krejci GWG

Boston now has the day off on Tuesday, awaiting the next period to start as well as the addition of Andrej Meszaros. Boston has gotten off to a 2-4-2 start, an okay start but improvement is needed. The GM is excited about the arrival of Meszaros and feels the defense will be improved. When asked about concerns, he said our goaltending needs to step up a bit. But when asked if any external help is needed he confirmed Rask was the guy

That third goal was awesome. Saw the replay. Sneaky. Lol. Gret game definately frustrating. Needless to say I'm happy I traded Foligno. He has been rough. He's the new Jeff carter. That said he will thrive in LA. 46 shots on goal. I had to have missed at least 15 more. That really sucked. But from the sound of it you were due a win. My young rag tag team took it to one of the best in the NHL. There's nights you dominate and lose. And nights where you get 4 shots but they all go in and you win. Love this game. Second game Thomas gave up the game winner on a miss played shot

Three Stars:
1) Lehtonen SO 27S
2) Dvorak 1G +/- 1
3) Eriksson 1G +/- 1

2nd Period:
11:15- Goligoski shot the puck and deflected off of Dvorak's foot and into the net, originally called no goal, but they soon reviewed it, and overturned the call

3rd Period:
4:06- Luongo was trying to pass the puck to the corner where a nuck was waiting for it, but threw it out to the circle instead, where Eriksson picked it up and snipped a beautiful goal right under the crossbar short side

Even though they threw 27 shots at the net, the Canucks couldn't get one past Lehtonen, who was absolutely on his game stopping shots from all angles and from everywhere on the ice

I think this is the last year of the contract, but I could be wrong. He is a good player actually, I just don't like him for some reason. I beg you to take him lol. I want Laughton on my team.

Detroit - 10
Vancouver - 0

Detroit wins a game where the scoreboard indicates a blowout, but it never felt like a 10-0 game. Despite only winning in shots 22-20, Detroits players lend some credit to some fruitful rebounds and execution on the breakaway to cruise to a win by a large margin. Jimmy Howard, accompanied by his 3 best friends (left and right post and the cross bar) made it apparent that they intended to blank the offensive threat posed throughout by the Canucks, who were never able to answer a 7 goal first period. A hat trick by Swede Henrik Zetterberg highlighted a game in which Detroit makes a statement to the Pittsburghs, the San Joses, and the other league leaders - this team from hockey town is in it for trophies.

Three stars:
1) Zetterberg 3g, 1 a
2) St. Louis 1g, 2a
3) datsyuk 2g, 1a

Detroit had 7 goals in the first period with only 11 shots

Detroit turned my defense into swiss cheese, he had so many breakaways that i lost count... He totally put on a clinic
