congratulations to david wright on becoming the mets all time hit leader. i think he could definetly reach 3000 hits. he is a classy player who plays with great effort and has a winning mentality. he reminds me alot of jeter. both hate to lose and love the game they play.

Is Nova hurt again? Why in the world is Phelps starting tomorrow? Guaranteed loss.

No tiebreakers this year for teams that are tied. The O's would host a 1 game playoff for the division if they finish with the same record. Not sure if you are alluding that they would host the 1 game tiebreaker game?

Meaning the yankees would have to play another game to decide the wild card if they lost.

Yea, lets hope it doesn't come to that. I was having nightmares thinking about them losing to Baltimore in a one game playoff Thursday than having to beat Oakland or Texas Friday just to make the playoffs.

2 wins vs Boston, get it done Yankees!!!!

You're right, I didn't realize that.

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/mlb-div...0829--mlb.html

So there's potentially 2 1-game playoffs this year

I like this change. I always thought it was a pretty raw deal to have your season come down to a tiebreaker.

The red sox will play hard against the yanks.

Don't think they forgot about the end of last season.

Fortunately for us their team really REALLY sucks this season.
