Ridley, Miller and Bobby Crawford for Carpenter and a 2nd.
Carpenter played for the Rangers for 28 games and scored 2 goals before getting traded later in the same season.
One of the worst trades the Rangers have ever made.
Ridley averaged 29 goals a year over 7 full seasons for the Caps. He also averaged 73 pts per season.
Miller was less impressive, but became one of the better 2 way players and averaged 34 points a year.
Carpenter? Well Bobby Carpenter was a 50 goal scorer. In 5 full seasons with the Caps, he scored 172 goals. In the following 13 seasons he scored a total of 148 goals.

It wasn't a good trade in the end, but it was hardly "the most one-sided trade of all-time".

Lindros was great but there's no doubt the deal that got the Avs their cups was this trade. Maybe not of all-time but it's up there IMO.

Naslund for Stojanov
Courtnall for Kordic
Draper for $1
The Lindros trade was a win for both teams. The Avs may have gotten a couple of cups, but I would say the P Roy trade had as much to do with that cup as the Lindros trade.
Yashin still brought some value to New York. It isn't like Stojanov or Kordic or $1 brought anything of value to their new teams.
The Neely trade only looks bad in retrospect because of the injuries to Pederson. It looked fine when the trade was made for the next 2 years. 76 and 71 points which is what he had his last season in Boston. It's after injuries hit that it looks bad.
