Makes sense why they refuse to open lanes for McFadden to run through.

Its early to speculate, I know, but a question for A's fans. If they make it into the LDS and even the LCS and beyond, any idea if there's the thought to taking the tarps off to sell more tickets? Or will the prices just skyrocket because of how few seats are available?

Would be lame to try to price people out of supporting the A's even if they're bandwagoners (like the folks who became die-hard Giants fans in 2010, I'm not trying to pick a fight here) when it would be easy enough to allow the team to play in front of an actual capacity crowd.

I cannot believe the A's actually made the playoffs, but right now I'm greedy. I want the next two games, and I want a 5 game series. A 1 game playoff would just feel like kissing your sister right now. This team has come too far and worked too hard. They deserve a full series.

I have my $2 for Wed all ready to go, and there is really only one man who can express just how I feel right now.

The A's will not take the tarps off no matter how far they go. Just imagine a World Series game with empty seats. No way A's management even thinks about letting that happen.

One of the ushers told me last night that the tarps will come off if they make the playoffs (home games). So, I interpreted that as that they'll sell as many as they can and take off whichever tarps they sell extra tickets in, if it even gets that far.

A's win.

Game 162 tomorrow to decide the AL West. It's a 12:35 game, but I see it getting picked up by the national channel and pushed back.

Start time isn't changing, but it will air on MLB network nationally (out of market), as announced on MLB network.

Anyone else enjoying the fact we did so much scoreboard damage Sunday that the Rex Ryan drama is starting to heat up even more?

I love watching that drama anyway because I love watching them implode, but knowing we were a direct cause of this week's stuff just makes it even better.

Looks like it's Giants/Reds in the first round. No disrespect to Cincy because they're a great team, but with how we played the Nats this year I'm stoked we avoided them.

I'm still unsure we can beat them if we get that far.

Remember that Atlanta, Philly, and Texas were all "better" than the Giants in 2010.

And I have now officially run out of adjectives to describe what the A's are doing this season.

I would love nothing more than for the Giants to be the dog in this series(and hopefully more). They can absolutely take any team down in the NL. Same can be said for the rest of the teams as well.

That was awesome.

I've been an A's fan since last week and it's been a wild ride... but we really earned this one. I'm gonna celebrate now at the water cooler.

That made me laugh. I agree though, I've been more of a Giants fan for the last 25 years, but what the A's accomplished this year was something special and I hope they go far. I would love for their to be another bay bridge series. We can skip the earthquake this time though.
