wow Oscar Lindberg is looking like a steal right now for the Rangers!
any insight on how Jensen and Tommerness have looked?
I know 2 of Jensen's goals were absolute snipes top ched and he's doing pretty well for someone on a low scoring team (2nd in goals, 11th in SEL in scoring, no one else on his team is even top 55 in scoring)
Tommerness seems to be picking up his game 2nd in d-man points in SEL. Has he looked as good as his stats indicate?
Fasth is better than Lindberg IMO. He was one of the top scorers early into last year as well before his injury. Let's hope he can sustain his production this time.
I think he is pretty much at the same level he was at last year. He sometimes seem to play without confidence despite putting up good numbers.
As a fan I don't always feel secure to have him in the net, he is not consistent enough in my opinion. He also have issues with rebounds, sometimes he gives up way too many on shots that shouldn't results in rebounds, which can cause quite some chaos infront of the net. When he is on his game there aren't many SEL-goalies that I would trade him for though.
His stats are inflated by playing behind the best defence-system in the league, so don't put too much weight into that. Even though he has only let in five goals it could have been less, many of those goals were scored because he made a mistake.
If he would have been more consistent and stopped giving up easy rebounds he would probably be a top goalie in Europe.
The J20-game between Skellefteå AIK and Modo Hockey will be streamed here at 7 pm CET: http://bambuser.com/channel/johnlind
Oscar Sundqvist (Pittsburgh), Ludwig Byström (Dallas) and Erik Nyström (Montréal). Also some 2013 draft eligible guys to watch, the top ranked being Robert Hägg and Lucas Wallmark.
Out of curiousity, what kind of shooting percentages do players get in the SEL?
Because Jensen has been shooting at 25%, I wanted to know if that was sustainable or more likely fluke.
I've watched a few of his games, and he has a great shot, and the goalies aren't great, am I being unrealistic to expect 20 goals?
That's not sustainable unless you're Stamkos v2. League-wide % so far is 8.57. Best last year was Silfverberg with 15,69%. But Jensen is getting good minutes and I don't see a lot of scorers on that team, 15 goals should be in reach.

Oh, I see. Stamkos v2 isn't too bad, I guess.
Thanks though for the info. I find it interesting that he's only had one assist so far, I think with better line mates he could probably do better on the stat sheet.
