Yep. There's audio too of course but I have no idea how to capture it with the video. If anyone knows an easy way and wants to give me a tutorial, shoot me a PM

2-1 win for Sarnia. I thought it was their best effort so far. As a team they showed resilience in the second as they were outshot 14-4 but by the end of the period they equalized it at 16-16. After that Sarnia never looked back and took over. They played as a team today, which is something that they haven't done this season. The addition of Hottot made a huge difference. Galchenyuk had an assist (or goal).

It was Galchenyuk's best game so far this season. He's steadily improving every game he plays. He looked much better on the draws tonight and so many flashes offensively. He played on the 2nd PK unit and obviously on the PP unit. In the first period he had a really nice rush, and put a hard shot on the net. Galchenyuk also threw a shot on net from a bad angle and then crashed the net and got a good chance out of it. He was involved in many scrums and he lost his helmet twice during them. He was great defensively again, read plays, intercepted passes, and blocked passing lanes. He drove the net multiple times including once where he took like five whacks at the goalie. Galchenyuk's assist came from a nice touch in the neutral zone where Murphy picked up the puck and put on some nice dekes. He took a shot and him and Galchenyuk drove right to the net. It looked like it should have been Gally's goal. He even celebrated after. He was pretty quiet in the third period, but had a few nice chances and played excellent defensively. When the clock was winding down he went down to block shots.

Galchenyuk was heavily engaged phyiscally. He hit people, battled it out in the corners and, he got involved in scrums (Including one where he jumped on top of the goalie). He also crashed the net every time he could. Gally took a lot of shots tonight. His shot is very powerful and his release is insanely quick. Something that I was impressed by is that he always made the goalie work when he shot.
_____________

Hottot was very impressive tonight. He played physical and he created offensively.

Charlie Sarault was awesome again tonight. He had 4 excellent penalty kills and had many chances.

JP Anderson was very solid tonight. There was a lot of scrambles in front of the goal and he always recovered nicely.

Coyotes prospect Connor Murphy looked great again. He's improved so much over last season. Very impressed. He showed some great flashes offensively tonight and played a solid two-way game.

Dallas Stars prospect Gemel Smith looked great tonight. He never ever gave up on the play and played with a ton of passion.

2013 potential draftee Chris Bigras put together a quietly solid game. He plays a good two-way game and showed so feistiness. He's definitely on my radar now.

Dan Catenacci had a very solid game too. He started off slowly but picked up as the game went on. He surprised me with his defensive effort tonight.

Gally also had a great stick lift on a backcheck that possibly saved a goal. definitely his best game so far, and for sure his best effort (lots of piss and vinegar tonight).

He reminded of Ryan Kesler some. Not as explosive but with more puck skills, but great two way play and lots of fire and desire to win.

Very nice to hear about Galchenyuk's willingnes to crash the net and be involved so much. I'm really looking forward to see him at Habs' camp, whenever it is.

Seconded. Watched the entire Sting game tonight. Well worth it.

ALSO..

That was Gally's goal, he was last to touch it. Not Murphy.

One thing everyone should be happy about, provided he does not re-injury himself doing it, is that Galchenyuk drives the net HARD. He is very consistent about it too. Pure power, two way centerman.

I guess Galchenyuk won't be updating his twitter account much during the season. I love this guy, he's all business when the hockey season starts. I'm sure he's not thrilled with the way his season or his team's season has started, and i'm sure he's working his ass off to get his timing back.

It's just that it's really hard to watch hockey on internet streams when you were watching it on HDTV previously. It already sucks watching hockey on SDTV when you're used to HDTV. I'm just the kind of guy that would never pay for internet streams. I do watch free ones though for PPV UFC/Boxing.

Gally is a busy bee, always buzzing around the puck carrier no matter where it is. Can anyone explain this phenomenon?

Is it because.. His teammates don't pass him the puck enough? Ultimately this will make him be able to control games? Does this mean he is responsible in all 3 zones? Or is it rust, and he forgot where to go on the ice

It honestly baffles me, because he can do things with the puck no one else can on his team, and he's the captain, so why don't they just give him the puck and let him create things? Whenever Gally doesn't have the puck, questionable decisions are made, and it's hard to create scoring chances in Sarnia.

Gally's celebrations are always unique. He gets so excited, sometimes he does something completely random - fake ripping of the shirt.
