Not bad. His first goal was nothing special, and I didn't get to see the second. SKA has dominated the possession game, but they take stupid penalties (Semenov, I'm looking at you) and they haven't been able to capitalize on their own power plays...Including a long 5 on 3. It's hard to get a read on Yakupov when his team is that much worse.
My personality read on Tarasenko is he's a kid who plays with his heart on his sleeve (hence the Armstrong comparisons to Oshie on that subject). He's humble and team-oriented, but willing to stand on principle, so I suspect if he were ever made a fan whipping boy he'd take it very personally (and likely want out). However, Blues fans will probably love his spirit and embrace him the same way they've embraced Oshie for his attitude. Tarasenko would be wise to show public St. Louis pride, because that works every time in getting St. Louis fans on your side.*
He has fan favorite written all over him. I think the fans will love his enthusiasm the most. When he scores, he looks like it's his first goal as a 6 year old. There's no doubt he loves the game. I think fans appreciate that.
