I'm cautiously interested in Zadorov as well. As much as the '05 draft scared me off of big defensemen, from what I've read his skating is pretty good so that alleviates a lot of the concern. If he can meet his physical/defensive potential, he could be an ideal partner for Green (or maybe Orlov) a few years down the road.

The last post-lockout draft suggests we don't touch a ****ing defenseman in a post-lockout draft.

Forsberg scored 8 goals and 17 points in 43 games last season, so it's looking really good so far

Awesome.
Both of Forsberg's assists were great offensive instinct plays. On his first, he did a great job crashing the net, and it looks like he made a desperate poke over to his teammate who scored the goal.
On his second, a nice curl and drag move to get around the defender, and then a pass off the goalie's pads. (Whether or not that was intentional is obviously unknown, but players do that)

So Forsberg is sitting right now at 10 points in 9 games. In the Allsvenskan and the SEL, no other U19 player has more than 2 points. This is awesome.

His game wasn't good today, he was on all 3 goals against.

Scoresheet scouting is usually very deceptive.

Well being on for all three goals isn't very good, but I see your point...
