WB-S will be a good test for the Amerks. As the article posted by Woodhouse states, that is one deep defensive corps featuring the likes of Despres, Dumoulin, Morrow, and a host of quality AHL vets. I think the Amerks have more firepower up front, but the Baby Pens will be tough to score on.
Yeah, WBS will probably compete with Syracuse and Hershey as the class of that division. They are very good every year, and that lineup looks real solid. Definitely way ahead in goaltending. I'm not a huge Leggio fan and Knapp/Lieuwen look a bit over their heads so far.

Pretty sure I paid $350 last year, but maybe I'm mistaking it with the NFL package. Either way, that's a ridiculous price for minor league hockey.
How many non-Amerks games are you actually going to watch? The Amerks-only package is only $150.
it's hard to say. if there is no nhl season? potentially a lot. i paid about $160 last year for nhl gamecenter live (and still missed 3 or 4 games due to glitches where the site would not recognize my account ). don't think i'll be paying the same amount for only one ahl team's games, let alone twice that much for the league.
I'm curious how Rolston works in the guys who are fighting it out up front. It seems the top 9 are probably set, and even the fourth line, but is he going to work guys in playing with the other depth guys or is he going to give some of them a shot mixed in with the top 9? That's what I'm curious to see out of tonight's game.

IIRC through the end of last October, you could have got NHL CI for around $170. I also buy AHL Live (team pass) regularly and at $2 per Amerk game, I've had few complaints. It's cheaper than a beer at the bar or a trendy coffee, no? I do understand that people have their budgets however.

Those are just common suggestions of where to look for streams so people quit asking. This game's being played on the MCC campus without any TV or radio broadcasts I believe.
Pens lead 1-0 after one; also lead in shots 13-6. Paul Thompson put his second rebound past Leggio for the lone goal. Later in the period, the Amerks had a successful 3v5 penalty kill.
I know this is pre-season but the pens scratched their best 4 forwards and best 4 defenders. Rochester looked like they chose to play their Game 1 lineup. They should win this game.

Kevin O was saying Pysyk and Mancari have assisted both goals.
Pens win 4-3. Adam Payerl scored with 1:52 remaining, as his shot went through/off traffic and into the top corner. Amerks did have a 6v4 PP in the final minute, but Brian Gibbons scored into the EN from his own faceoff circle to extend the WBS lead to 4-2. Brayden McNabb then scored a consolation goal on the same PP with only two seconds to go.
