Stars & Maple Leafs (Kadri)

Well since I've been hearing about Dallas Eakins "ripping" into Kadri for not being "in shape" or eating right, what would the Leafs be asking for him.

Would something around this work?

Matt Fraser/ Tyler Beskorowany + '15 4th rounder

Kadri

Get weird.

This isn't close enough to get Kadri. It's been said before but if there is a trade to go down with TO and Stars. Kadri for Glennie would make sense to me.

No...that package would not get Nazem Kadri out of Toronto, but Jamie Oleksiak probably would.

If the Leafs are going to trade Kadri (which they probably should), it needs to be to acquire one of the following things.

1. An established #1 centre.
2. An established #1 goaltender.
3. A top 4 shutdown dman with some youth upside.
4. A high potential / top prospect who's either a forward or shutdown dman, in the case of a forward, somebody who doesn't need to play in the NHL right away in order to continue developing.
5. The best draft pick they can get.

Philadelphia Ducks: I would probably do that, honestly.

Seanlinden: keep wishing, Kadri is not gonna return any of those.

What's your point? The Leafs are overloaded with wingers even without Kadri.

Leafs are more than prepared to add to make one of those happen. We're looking to consolidate multiple assets into one. In a worst case scenario, take the draft pick or make room for him by moving a guy like MacArthur.

The Kadri proposals are coming fast and furious now. They should just award the Stanley Cup to either Luongo or Kadri, because that's all the year 2012/13 in the NHL will be remembered for.

Yeah we're not giving up enough in OP's offer, even if Kadri hasn't proven a whole hell of a lot at the pro level. But he's got the tools at least, so that's gotta count for something.

I'm another one who'd give up Glennie for Kadri. Both players are pretty enigmatic forwards who haven't exactly hit the ground running with their respective franchises, leaving a fanbase somewhat wanting. Straight swap, would work for me.

Except Kadri's played far better in the AHL than Glennie. Straight swap wouldn't work for the Leafs.

Toronto has no need for goaltending, Scrivens is the best goalie prospect in the league.

Hope you mean a package of Kadri+++. Not just Kadri alone. Because, well... Yeah...

Markstrom, Lehner, Campbell, Holtby, Hackett, Allen, Lack, and several others disagree

Funny thing is Fraser has played better in the AHL than Kadri.

A quick glance at hockey db tells me that Kadri has 81 points in 92 games(.88ppg pace) while Fraser has 55 points in 73 games(.75ppg pace).

Although I'll readily admit I know nothing about Fraser.
