For anyone who watched the game, curious to know how you thought Girgensons, Pysyk, and Adam looked?

Rochester Amerk Mark Pysyk makes good first impression (D&C Kevin Oklobzija)

Adam looked pretty decent. Had a goal. Still looks pretty slow to me. Worked well with his line, though.

Girgensons was just okay. First pro game, I'll give him a break. He obviously competes hard, but he needs to settle down some with the puck. Few times during the breakout he looked like he panicked and just fired the puck away without actually picking his head up and finding someone. Had a couple decent hits. You can see the potential.

Pysyk was really good. Can skate and make a nice breakout pass. Had a couple assists.

The team as a whole didn't look too good, but they've only had a few practices. Hodgson was actually probably the worst player on the team. It appears he came into this game with the attitude that he could dance around the entire opposition. Tried the puck between the legs move probably 5 or 6 times, don't think it worked once. Again, you can see the talent and I don't doubt he'll put up the numbers.

It should be noted that the Amerks really should have won this game. The nets weren't anchored down like normal, so even slight contact knocked the net off. Amerks would have had 2 easy goals if the goalie didn't knock it off when sliding over.
