Not surprised you commented at 4:20. You have to be high to like that song. Horrendous. I don't get how I get **** whenever I listen to some Hendrix or something while people are listening to abysmal "music" like that.

The song rules and the video is even better. You need to lighten up....I guess that comes with being 17. Plus who gives you crap for listening to Jimi Hendrix and more importantly why would you care?

The beat is awful, but the dance is funny I guess.

I don't care that people give me crap, but people see me playing some classic rock and say "Why do you listen to that stuff?" when they listen to just crap music like that.

To each their own I guess. I just find it sad more people like stuff like that over Zeppelin, The Who, Hendrix, etc.

Not to each their own, at least here. That song/video - like most everything in pop culture today - is devoid of anything redeemable or artistic. At what point will this nonsense end? I thought Honey Boo Boo and Gangnam Style were it, but I guess not.

I don't even listen to the radio anymore. That's where I am at with modern music.

As a person who mostly listens to rap, I've come to enjoy Gaslight Anthem recently, thanks to NHL 13.

Pop music is popular because the melodies and beats activate certain pleasure centers in the brain. People actually can't help but like it.

"Pop music" and "pleasure" in the same sentence is almost is bad as "country music" and "pleasure" being in the same sentence.

ones preference for melody is culturally determined. "pop" music is popular because the same intervals and melodies have been shoved down our throat since birth.

gagnam style is Korean pop, look up other Korean pop songs like "bubble pop" and you'll see it fits right in. its huge right now because of the video/dance

I like 45 by gaslight but I haven't bothered to listen to their other songs. Its a shame I know.

I've bought and have listened to Babel by mumford and sons and its really good.

And I LOVE imagine dragons cd. Its really good and I would recommend it to anyone. My favorite song is probably bleeding out. Sorry

I agree. Runaways is great and Here With Me is OK. But it just doesn't compare to Hot Fuss which is one of my favorite Albums.

This kind of stuff is why I have lost hope in virtually every "music" group other than the Foo Fighters.

What the hell is that? Seriously. It's Morgan Freeman's voice being incorporated into dubstep. That's an American sin.
