I have decided that I am going to do everything the banner ads in this site tell me to do. I became a Mormon, I am going to date Asian women, and I just got the best deal on satellite. I also voted for a President on a banner ad! Polling places and absentee ballots are for chumps!

Now I need to pursue my passion at American Public University

Thanks HF!

I'm watching Phil/Pitt football game on Fox, and on their crawl screen, they are showing soccer score updates - from Europe?!?!? WTF???

I realize Fox shows soccer after this football game, but they are showing me scores from cities I"ve never even heard of, nor do I need to know of them. Nor do I care that they happen to play soccer! This is even worse than Fox showing the local news during half time.

Why is this on my tv?!

/rant (feel better - thx)

Ran the Long Beach 1/2 Marathon yesterday. First one over. I feel like I rode a horse for 13.1 miles, not ran.

Is this a hawk? It came out of nowhere. You can see it's holding a prey.

Anyone have any advice on finding a good hotel with a good price for Honolulu? Never been before and I'm trying to keep cost low. Obviously, I'm aware of Trip Advisor and what not but if anyone has specific advice, I'm all ears...err.. eyes!

Just bought a 2011 GMC Acadia SLT. Nicest thing I've ever owned. Now to grow the family a bit, fill this thing out.

Looks to me like a Golden Eagle, going by the size. Tough to say for sure without getting a good look at the tail and belly color though since it could be either a Sharp-Shinned Hawk or a Cooper's Hawk depending on how much white (if any) there is on it's underside...

No not really bragging. When I did it, I'd never felt such pain in my life from exercise. That is without a doubt the most physically exhausting thing I've done before.

Thanks. That was literally the first time I've ever seen a bird of prey that wasn't held in captivity. It was in a highly-urbanized area in the OC. Maybe that bird could've just gotten away from its owner. I doubt it was a free wild bird roaming around a busy area.

I go to Universal every year but have to have the Front Of The Line Pass. Standing in line for 2 hours to go through a maze isn't my idea of fun but walking right past people who are standing in line for 2 hours cause you were intelligent enough to purchase the Front Of The Line Pass is awesome.
