Doop

It's now been a full season and 2 playoff runs with Doop as our goal song

Have your opinions on it changed? When it originally started being used in the 2011 playoffs, I absolutely hated it. It was terrible.

Now I don't mind it and I actually like it.

Thoughts?

Bro Hymn was better. I remember it being especially epic in the 2010 playoffs

I like it, just wish we wouldn't use the weird techno version of it.

I always liked it, though I agree Bro Hymn was better. But I feel like Doop is something annoying enough to get in an opponents head, like Chelsea Dagger.

Dislike it a lot, and don't know how it gets into opponents' heads ... it seems to be the quietest song played through the WFC sound system.

I've always wondered about this. I haven't heard it live; on TV it's almost impossible to hear. What I do hear sounds like some sort of speaker flaw/sound system flaw, it's horrific.

Rock & Roll part 2 will always be my favorite. I don't care that the guy was a pedophile, Jimmy Rollins was walking to at-bats to Michael Jackson the Flyers should be able to play Gary Glitter.

My father absolutely despises the Doop song. I am indifferent towards it. Just happy when the Flyers score

There's always people near my seats that sing it when they score. And it's really loud over the speakers in the wfc

Pretty sure I only enjoy the song because it plays after something really awesome happens.

I don't mind having it as the goal song, but as some others also said, I like the Bro Hymn better. I've some good memories from the '10 playoffs that's including that goal song.

Regarding how it sounds at the game, you can certainly hear it. It was awful volume wise in the 2011 playoffs, but it was fixed this season.

I like it. After Chelsea Dagger ruined me psychologically for nearly two weeks in spring 2010, I have felt like a goal song like that is perfect. I feel like Doop in a way has that.

Couldn't agree more with this. That song still haunts me. I had to change the channel whenever that stupid Amstel commercial with that song in it came on. Absolutely ruined me.

Meh. Not my favorite but who cares. They could play anything after a goal.

I like Doop better than Bro Hymn

and with the connection to the Union, I feel like it makes it "Philly's celebration song" or something whereas Bro Hymn was used by other teams as well

I feel like when it goes off after a huge goal it feels really epic
