Anyone who is worried about Galchenyuk not turning out to be a great NHL player already is an idiot, seriously.. its been 4 games, and he has nothing to work with in Sarnia
There's legitimate reasons to worry about Galchenyuk not turning out to be a great NHL player, but it has nothing to do with his point total after 4 games. I'd worry about his sample size compared to his peers and missing a year of development, but worrying about his box scores right now is silly.
I really think they have a good group of players but they're not coached to their full potential.
I dunno, lots of really stupid mistakes. A few guys that are seemingly incapable of protecting the puck at all. Very few board battles being won by any of the sting, and some really boneheaded give aways (like Murphy's).
Miserable first period from Galchenyuk. He had trouble controlling the puck and didn't really engage in many puck battles. The ones he did, he didn't win. He also looked very sluggish. However he did start getting his feet underneath him near the end of the period.
Honestly, I think I can safely say, that was the worst period I've seen him play in a long time.
