get well Main!

Grady Whittenburg is a one man show, pure listening bliss.

Zibby has totally squashed any concerns of his mediocre season in SEL. He is ready.

Pagaeu's effectiveness has surprised me. I thought he was more of long term project and bound for Elmira. He has a chance to make the Bingo team.

Is it just, or did the game end so soon?

I didn't know you could scout players on the radio. Your ability to do so for exhibition games is AMAZING!!

To be fair, people form perception of players more from what they hear than what they see, from radio/tv(tsn)/internet.

Pageau has been a surprise.

And Zibby has been great so far.

Silfverberg didn't play.

I can only go off of the radio feed, but Petersson sounded like he was active in the play a heck of a lot tonight. Was hearing good things about him.

lol.
I dont know if you can say that, I think its more of a personal preference thing. I learn better by having something visual vs by ear.

sounds like a solid performance by the backup duo.

should be interesting to see what happens there now with the lockout, and the potential of bishop signing an AHL contract.

Any odds on lawson/greenham/chevrie for the backup spot right now? (i'm assuming 2 losers get sent to elmira). Still look to be cheverie and greenham in elmira, or did either impress?

The PxP for the game tonight indicated that Cheverie made some great saves on Hershey. Greenham was only given a period to play but let in a goal on I'm guessing around 8 shots. Not much time to really prove yourself as a goalie.

You have to admit...these are pretty wild conclusions to jump to from listening to a game on the radio.

You need to see the play. Radio guys have a tendency to energize their audiences. Schreiber for example could get you on the edge of your seat with the way he calls a blind centering pass to nobody. Or Dean Brown's "side of the net" call he uses or used over and over. Or scrambbbbuulllllllll.

You see what I'm getting at here?

It's good to see the hopes of the future get on the scoresheet, no doubt about it, and at least we have SOMETHING to take an interest in right now.
