Gordie Howe Hat-trick for Biggs tonight. 5 goals in 6 games so far. Half-way to his THN prediction.

I'm sure he'll cool down soon but it's nice to see he's been working very hard and is not letting this opportunity pass him.

Hahah, well then he is about to go on a cold streak for the rest of the season to prove them right !

But Jenner, and Biggs make a pretty good pairing. He made a couple key plays like the pass for that one goal.

Keep in mind though, that two of his goals were open netters lol, but a point is a point.

ill give him respect tonight. He played a grittier game. The game got rough and it seemed to bring out some more in him.

He was way more confident with the puck and had a couple good shots on net.

Just got back from the game.

Thought Biggs played decent. Nice to see him in that scrap, but he wasn't all over the ice like Jenner was tonight. He scored a nice empty net goal, but it was really his teammate who set up for the easy goal.

He's fitting in well though and playing a physical game. He and Jenner seem to work well together.

Nah, it seemed pretty even. There were a lot of fights that game, and it was fairly forgettable other than the fact it was Biggs.

He was active in the scrums. Which i was happy about. He looked uninterested before, but lastnight he seemed to intimidate guys a bit.

Here is the video evidence of Tyler's 2g 1a 3pt night against Brampton last week. THN sould rate more Leafs prospects out of the top 75.

2 nice goals by Tyler.

He's dangerously close to making the experts at THN look like complete idiots.

And our friend 70'sLord said he hoped he was wrong about Tyler, thus far Tyler is doing just that, so he must be happy today.

I have a feeling there are going to be a ton of people filling up on crow in the near future.

Biggs and D'Amigo were both on my want lists.

But I'm a Leafs' fan so I can't really say I'm thrilled with how they are playing in the NHL.

Must point out Kenny Ryan was also on my want list, so there's that.

Can anyone find that THN article that predicted Biggs would only get 10 goals and kind of trashed him?

I would love to read it

They predicted he'd score 10 goals in the whole season?

From what I understand THN took Tyler was out of the top 75 future watch.

Tyler's career high in goals is 9 thus far last year, thus 10 will be his new high.

There was also some stat posted that Tyler's PPG is at a likely bust level, and that 1.25PPG is atleast top 6 material. Those were the discussion points in the locked thread.

Given Tyler's start he will surpass 9 goals this year, and will better the 1.25 PPG.

He scored 9 in the NCAA last year.

How would they predict he'd only score 1 more in twice the games, playing against boys?

Maybe it was a trick question, 'cuz he'd be playing half the season in the AHL?

Does anyone have a link to the 10 goal projection/prediction?
