Ya I was just pointing out that we were right to whine, at least ONCE!

Also notice how your post also applies to most Hab fans!

BTW I don't think Portugal's fans are bad, just those bandwaggoners! The fans who go down with their team are just as good as any other countries ... Except maybe France But let's not even go there ... I like to call them their team the United Nations, for obvious reasons ...

For some reason I think it's just some random losers in montreal. Cuz I've never seen it happen over here, and their's a gabillion of us.
That might UNFORTUNATELY be the truth ... or maybe they were just sick of hearing us Italians cheer ?

Nothing wrong with that ... At least they are still waiving the same flag

I just think the kids didn't know any better. Half of us wanted to kill someone while we go look outside and kids are riding on their bikes and climbing on the bus booths waving Italy flags as though we just won the world cup. Someone should have told them that when you lose...it's over...don't get too crazy with that flag.

Good times, good times

Actually I just noticed that isn't glare, they are just covered ... He didn't always have them covered did he ? I remember seeing them shine on tv while the camera was a great distance from him

Actually that's a misconception. During the games, he puts tape on his ear rings. His diamonds are about 5 times smaller then that

Nah he's always put tape on them. I haven't seen him with ear rings in the longest time though. Maybe he only wears them during international play. Either way, I haven't seen them uncovered during a game and I was under the impression that it was a rule?

I think that's one of the times he got a yellow card for over-celebrating after a goal. Good times.

Yeah it must be a rule. I remember Inter's Adriano with tape over his earings one game and then he just stopped wearing them completely. When I play soccer, some refs would even have us take off our gold chains and necklaces. I guess it's just precautionary in case you get caught up with another player by accident and suffer some freak injury. Better safe than sorry.
