My goalie is so good that he didn't play in the playoffs due to an injury and they STILL gave him the Conn Smythe

My EASHL goalie is so good, except when he's not.

I don't know how many times I bail out my team when I'm getting shelled, only to zone out and let in two straight goals from the neutral zone immediately afterwards. I think I do this every other game, it's getting out of hand.

New Look PlayStation Store Launching in October

Quote:
Sony has decided to give the PlayStation Store the makeover it promised earlier in the year to coincide with the launch of the super duper PlayStation Slim.

“PlayStation Store for PS3 is set to get a new look from October 2012, making it even easier for you to find and download the content you love from the comfort of your sofa,” Sony said. The new PlayStation Slim is 20 percent smaller and 25 percent lighter, it also comes with a 500 GB hard drive.

Caught the Sim City 5 trailer.

Pretty worried about a few things:

1) Online Only... NO, just no!
2) Troll Cities, Maxis and EA serverely underestimate the capacity for douchebaggery in online anonymous gaming.

Sim City going "Online Only" just makes ZERO sense. At the absolute minimum they should allow Single Player Regions for practicing.

It all has to do with this new "need" to integrate everything into social networking. Everything now needs to tell your friends on facebook about things you did. Everything needs to be online so you can interact with other people constantly.

This recent E3 was all about stupid ****ing social networking.

It's beginning to be a bad thing to want to play a game single player. Every big name titles nowadays has to be co-op, even if it destroys the experience (RE5 and 6/Dead Space 3/FEAR 3) with split-screen co-op being a disadvantage and not encouraged.

I've posted before that we should pick him back up just because he dominates in NHL 13.. Not sure what it is about him that just makes him go on a tear

Agreed.

I'm not exactly ANTI social networking; it's good to keep up with family and friends, but I don't need OR want them to know how many sims live in my city.

I just wish that social networking would evolve.

IS there any way to prevent getting matched up against a co-op player in a ranked versus game? I'm surprised that's allowed...

I guess I missed something. I didn't realize it until the second face-off.

Whatever. I'm just playing to try to get some practice in. I was just caught off guard, and I didn't know if I had missed a way to avoid it.

At the ready up screen there is a guest: section. Make sure it says 0.
