Believe it or not, it is reported to be Falcao. Now weather Arsenal are truly pursuing him, or if its just the media putting a common rumored transfer player, I guess time will tell. But chances are Falcao will chose Chelsea over Arsenal if anything, sort of like Hazard (Wenger hinted that Lille accepted their bid, but Eden Hazard went w/Chelsea who offered higher wages)

I can't see 35 being enough to get Falcao.

yeah falcao is under contract until 2016, they're gonna ask for 50m minimum, and that's when they're in deep **** financially.

He'll spend it on "the Belgian CR7", David Henen and that will be the transfer window

Spend 7 out of 35 & Call it a good window under Arsenal's standards. Another window, another young prospect

Alen Halilović (16 year old) is slowly but surely becoming one of the most sought after players in the world. After Real, City, Arsenal (it was rumored that they've offered over 15mil) and other European giants declared their interest in Alen, Man Utd became the latest club to be mentioned in the Halilović sweepstakes. Halilović and Mateo Kovačić are two of the most talented Croatian football players since Zvonimir Boban.

I think the fight to see which national team he plays for will be bigger and more intense.

Halilovic was raised in Zagreb, to a Croatian mother, and Bosnian father, who played for both Croatian, and Bosnian NT's. His dad for the longest time said Alen would play for Bosnia, but his dad came out saying recently that it's totally up to Alen, who already plays with the Croatian U-17's. Bosnia could used another AM to replace Misimovic and Halilovic would work great with Pjanic.

He said he still didn't make his decision, obviously I hope he plays for Croatia and BiH did nothing to make him into a player he's right now.

Kind of a double edged sword. Half of the Croatian team were born in Bosnia. His father chose what was best for his son, and his career. If the BiHPL had any sort of legitimacy and hope, he could have gone there. Seems like a great kid, so neither side can, or should, criticize him for going whichever way.

He scored his first goal today in the HNL.

Gunners dont buy in Jan inflation is too high. That is direct from the bosses mouth. Gunners fans can take that market off except a couple of outs on the cheap.

Urheilulehti claims that Joel Pohjanpalo will join either Leverkusen or Borussia in January for a fee of 1.5-2M.

Real Madrid sent an official request to Dinamo Zagreb in which they ask Dinamo to allow Halilovic to train at Santiago Bernabeu, it's speculated that Real offered over 10mil Euros.

That's not going to happen.

Terry has lost a lot of his game recently, but still a really good defender. But all those off the pitch issues are definitely affecting him. If they find a replacement, I wouldn't mind losing Terry with his current form. Again, I just don't see it happening. He's going to retire with Chelsea.

^ Nah I think he might leave. Would be good for him, get away from all the BS he puts up (relatively, obviously he's a millionaire) with in the Prem.

And as a Chelsea fan, I'm indifferent to it now because he's served his club and if he stays another year or two and declines more then it'd just be painful anyways.

Goal.com saying that Madrid are going to go after Gareth Bale, using Fabio Coentrao the cut the cost.

Goal.com:
Quote:
The Portuguese left-back could be used to lower the cost of a move for Gareth Bale, with Spurs coach Andre Villas-Boas a fan of the former Benfica man, who has seen his game time cut short this season

Makes sense with the crazy rumour I heard a week ago in Punto Pelota.

C. Ronaldo + Higuain + Coentrao sold
Falcao and Bale in

Basically it was C. Ronaldo sold and Falcao and Bale in, but they said a striker would be out, and it makes sense that Coentrao would be used to lower the price.
Btw I think none of this rumours its going to happen.

Falcao would be such an unnecessary purchase. They already have Benzema, and they do have striker substitutes.

In the Telegraph's match preview for the Merseyside Derby it says Liverpool are going to look at Lewis Holtby and Walcott in the January window, perhaps on pre-contracts for free moves in the summer.
