i just love it when the announcer doesn't even know basic rules like the fact that a pitch can indeed be a forward pass...

i hate it when games are on local stations instead of espn. this ******* doesn't even know what he's talking about.

Well, WVU won, but it sure as hell wasn't pretty. They're gonna have to really step it up now that they're getting into the conference games.

Arkansas' just had a nightmare of a season after such high expectations.

And the Oklahoma game's supposed to be the big one in Morgantown this year, but I'm starting to become more wary of that Bill Snyder Kansas State squad that's gonna come to town on the 20th.

I'm sticking by my pick of Bama vs FL st for the NT game, but Oregon may get in ahead of them.

#8 Stanford down 17-13 to Washington late in the 4th quarter. This game certainly picked up in excitement.

I think I could win a Heisman playing against Big XII D's.

The B12 is better than the BE, but the Defenses aren't.

You scout the player, not the system.

Smith has a long way to go to beat out guys like Wilson, Thomas, or even Bray.

I'm not quite used to offensive shootouts, but I guess I'll have to in the Big XII now. 70-63, Geno with over 600 passing yards and Bailey with 303 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns, all of which are school records.

Yesterday was a huge step forward for the Vols. Defense was slow and just don't have the athletes Georgia did but came up huge in the fourth quarter with back to back three and outs with the game on the line.

Bray I think sealed his deal as not NFL ready yet with his past two games against NFL feeder programs (Florida, Georgia). When times get tough his mechanics deteriorate and also forces the ball. He needs to learn to throw AT the blitz. He constantly fires away, where the D has help. Throw at the blitz to your hot receiver.

Neal and the run game were huge and I think they have about a 50/50 shot to take down South Carolina. On the TD drive to get within seven, they shoved the ball down Georgia's throat gashing them for six yards a clip along with conservative passing that limited Bray's risks. That's something that Tennessee hasn't been able to do in three years, pound the ball against a SEC defense.

Finally get to see how good LSU is. The sky is falling here and after we had trouble blowing out Towson. A big confidence boost for the team if they can go into the swamp and win against a top ten Gators team

It's hard to not get frustrated with Miami losing to Notre Dame, but Miami's best players are all freshmen and sophomores.

Notre Dame is far from the ninth best team in the country though, that's for sure.

Rutgers is looking like it's the real deal, especially defensively. Curious to see how much higher they go up next week? 16th-18th from 22nd is my guess. Their defense is really good. They conclude their season with a home game against Louisville, going to try to convince my Dad to get tickets.

I mentioned to a couple of my buddies that are RU alums that we should go to that game. Rutgers should still be undefeated at that point, too.

Cincinatti always screws them though.

The year they beat Louisville by a field goal, Cincinatti just kept pulling dick moves like the cornerbacks clearly tackle the wide receivers when they were beat to turn what would've been touchdowns into 15 yard penalties.

That and they don't have to worry about WVU.

Yeah, I told my friend who goes to Rutgers that he better get me a ticket. But I know how Rutgers does things. As soon as the fans start counting their chickens, a deflating loss to a terrible team happens.

Rutgers is sick defensively. They have been for a few years now. Schiano did wonders for the program. The WR are always good too, and this Jamison kid at RB looks pretty solid. The number one question is always QB play, and our kicker is a freshman and he misses chip shots every game. Including a PAT today.

Judging by who lost today, they'll probably jump to 19 or so in the rakings tomorrow.

Jamison reminds me of Ray Rice. The never gives up kind of player, and yeah, the kicker is crazily inconsistent. He can hit long field goals, but can't hit them with consistency. He can't even hit 20-30 yarders with consistency either. I know the one kid at my school is a pretty damn good kicker and really consistent, big Rutgers fan too. Can kick 30-40 yarders with ease, and he's only a junior. Doesn't have the leg for longer ones, but he has room to grow.

Depending on how the cards fall, I'm going to force my Dad to get those tickets.
