According to TSN, Bry said of the players that went over to the KHL for the lockout wont come back if the lockout ends this season.

The commentators are beyond horrible; I will take drunk Coates every day of the week over them.

The KHL made them sign contracts with out clauses.

If they want to stay there for the rest of their careers, I hope they don't think the IIHF is going to let them play in any international tournaments

Sorry late at night. Meant to say SOME of the players that went over to the KHL, not all (if there was any confusion).

But I agree. I can only maybe see some of the Russian players staying over there but unless the players REALLY lose (and agree to it), I cant see many if any staying over there.

You are a native russian speaker. Could you tell me why the announcers are so boring overall? I think only the CSKA announcers actually got into the game without announcing it like they were bored.. Absolutely no banter between commentators and it's pretty bare bones as far as discussions about the game go

RT @D_LEED: Voracek out only a week with a knee injury. That panic was fun while it lasted. #Flyers

RT @tpanotchCSN: Source says Voracek is telling teammates in Europe his knee injury is worse than what his agents feels it is.

I think the IIHF has no choice, since there's no transfer agreement between the KHL and the NHL. Only a gentlemen's agreement not to poach contracted players. And to be honest, if a high profile NHL player wants to go to the KHL, the KHL will light that agreement on fire. I don't blame them either.

It's difficult to give a fair assessment from the sample size of highlights that I saw.

In my opinion, there is a lack of knowlege on their part to talk about anything hockey related, but the situation on ice. There is also a very different approach to professional broadcoasting in general (from camera work, to commentatotors).

Datsyuk plays for CSKA Moscow

Edit :

Speaking of CSKA Moscow, they have a game at 11:45 EST but I don't expect Bryzgalov to start over Stana

Yeah tough to start Bryz when their starter is 6-2 with a 1.36GAA and 954 save percentage.

Yeah, the guys on the KHL board said the signing made no sense.

Bryz should try to get out of it and go to BERLIN
