Its still really early. I think I remember Kadri started really slow too after his draft year...
He really picked up his pace as the year went on. Im sure Gally will too.
I thought he looked very good against the Rangers early in the season. He was moving very well and was physically involved. But to be honest there was almost no consistency in who he was playing with. So it looked a little bit like he was involved in a game of shinny.
Im hoping he teams up with Reid Boucher and starts producing soon, for the sake of my OHL Fantasy Pool (I have Boucher) as well as for Boucher's development

Sarault and Boucher have awesome chemistry. They've played every game on the same line, they play on the PK together, and on the same PP unit. They have also looked very good. I doubt Sarnia will split them up.
Its PPG. And a sample of 5 games. Nothing to see here.
EDIT: And the Sarnia Sting are really bad from the two games I've seen. Terrible defence and goaltending...I hope they trade Galchenyuk ASAP.
There's a lot of talent but I think the problem is coaching.... Which could be even worse for Galchenyuk and his development unfortunately. I hope he gets traded too.
London or Kitchener.. I bet he has a NTC in his contract though
Kitchener would rather get a defender. They already have a very good group of forwards. A player I think they will maybe target is Percy. Depending on how Steel-Heads do.
Not sure why the production is so relevant as early as 3 or 4 games in...I mean for example 5 games in 4th rounder Brady Vail was 2nd in the league in points with 9. Some things aren't sustainable, just like Galchenyuk being under ppg.

You should watch what you say, Gally has a Goal and an Assist in tonights contest after the 1st period. 7P in 6GP

London... Maybe? I don't see it though.
They could use some secondary scoring though. Or in fact they need to start scoring as 13 goals in 6 games with two EN's might indicate. Galchenyuk and Faksa as a 1-2 punch down the middle with Reider on one line an Puempel on the other would make the Ranger's much more dangerous.
That said, I think he plays it out in Sarnia if the full season is lost.

Yeah he did and he ended up with more assists than games played and 96 points in 56 games. A slow start doesn't mean anything. If Galchenyuk is as good as he was 2 years ago he'll be fine.
With his style of play, the way he stay in the dirty area and his strength at keeping the puck, I wouldn't be surprised if he become the best player of his draft.
I hope he end up like Jonathan Toews. Thats his upside imo.

He does not play like Toews, he's not bad defensively, but it's not something he'll ever be know for. He's average at faceoffs in the OHL, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him become a winger when he translates his game to the NHL.

I'd compare him to Stastny of two years ago.
Not really no. Toews wasn't way better defensively than Galchenyuk is right now in his junior days... and you're out of lunch if he isn't and ever will be known for his defensive style. Trevor Timmins was so proud of the way he played without the puck and his awareness defensively. So was a tons of scout. He is average at the faceoff at 50% mark, but its easy to become better at faceoff with the years.
You're very very undeducated about the Habs if you think they will turn this gem into a winger. Habs have full of prospect and good player right now on the wing, they drafted him to be their #1 centre.
I've seen the comparison of Toews a lot... Stastny doesn't have his power, strength, wrist shot and grit. Worst comparison I've seen from a while.
