70+ yard bomb aside, Cousins is staring down his recievers. Tough ask for a back up rookie to pull this out. Got my fingers crossed though.

edit: Yup, staired him down.

Played the NFC's best team tough, had chances to pull it out. Missed opportunities.

And Shaun Suisham just nailed 34 yard FG to beat the Eagles. Wish the Skins had a kicker who could nail kicks from 35 yards and in.

So Cousins isn't as good as he was in the preseason. 2 picks today, and the Redskins could be in trouble in the near future, depending on how long RG3 is out.

But that can be pondered later. The home losing streak continues, yes, but this team came to play today. There were a lot of memorable plays, the pick six, the Moss TD, and Atlanta is a good team. Sure, it was a winnable game, but in the end the Redskins did themselves in by missed points (FG's) and the turnovers.

One thing is sure...Cundiff should be out of here. He's not making it out of this week.

Kind of early to make a statement like that after todays game. Backup QB's get very little reps in practice during the week. Add to it Cousins is a rookie, and the gameplan surely wasn't crafted to his skills, and it was a tall ask for the kid to rescue the Skins.

And the defense should get a D at least for today. Allow the Falcons two long drives late in the game to win is not a C worthy performance.

Mike Shanahan: RG3 suffered a mild concussion. He didn't know the score or what quarter it was after the hit. #Redskins

Missed the whole second half. Am in full-on panic over RG3. Want to set Cundiff on fire, hopefully he's off the team by tonight.

Great. That means Griffin probably won't remember the extremely dumb decision by him that led to his clock being cleaned. Oh wait there is video evidence.

RG3 seriously did not need to take the hit. Out of pocket, throw it away or go out of bounds.

Today was a good argument as to why there aren't many "running" type QBs in the NFL. You had to wonder how soon it would be before this happened with Griffin. For a supposedly smart guy, a pretty dumb play. Slide or go out of bounds. People are out there trying to kill you. Cousins got lucky on the TD play, someone on the Falcons screwed up big time. But after that he was pure Rex.

Eight home losses in a row.

Norv Turner may be the worst coach in the NFL. Amazing he still has a job.

That is one of the best TD's I've seen on TV that took place at FedEx.
