Tarasenko just scored late in the 3rd to give SKA the 4-3 lead.

Scoring like this has to be great for his confidence.

Hopefully these impromptu labor talks lead to something productive.

That GWG was unassisted btw. Nice little wrap around the net and let a quick wrister go that floated over the goaltenders blocker side. The tank had 4 shots on goal total and a whopping 17:37 minutes TOI. He's now top 20 in goals scored in the KHL with only 4 games played. To put it into perspective, that's about a 1/3 of most of the players in front of him.

Tarasenko in KHL: the awesome start

Taras has played just 4 games and already scored 5 goals, more than
Ovi, Covi, Malkin combined - only 4 goals.

Five goals and zero assists. Typical selfish Russian.

Seriously though, it's fantastic to hear that he's doing well. It's only a shame that it's not over here in North America. Worthless lockout garbage.

The Blues have plenty of assist men. They could really use a goal sniper. I can't wait for the lockout to be over.

The truth is that he showed the same perfomance in playoff last season, despite of he had one of the lowest ice time in a team. A dumb coach!
It was a big issue in a media why the scoring leader in playoff (he was until the SKA was ousted) had such a small ice time.

Yeah, and in his first game he played just a few shifts. So it's more like 3 1/5 games - 5 goals.

Just pisses me off more and more about this lockout. He should be doing this in the NHL right now.

The SKA-CSKA game will be starting shortly, streams in the usual places. CSKA have Bryzgalov, Datsyuk, Radulov, Volchenkov and Grabovski on their team.

Volchenkov plays in Torpedo (Nizhniy Novgorod). The team can sign only three guys from NHL.

Tarasenko picks up an assist on Kovalchuk's second goal of the day. Shot from the circles, looked like it may have gone in anyway, Kovy puts it in anyway. Kovalchuk and Tarasenko look very deadly together. Creative and dynamic in the offensive zone. They've created alot of scoring chances thus far. Now on the PP.

Make that 2 assists. Finds Dallman backdoor with a neat backhand pass on the powerplay.

That second pass was a beauty. Tarasenko is really good offensively. he is cutting to the net and has great hands.

Found a stream a Tarasenko got a nice assist on a Kovy goal less than a minute after I started watching. I guess that's his 3rd assist tonight?

Alright wow! 3 assists! Sets up Kovy again. Amazing worth ethic on this kid. Carries it in and tries to get around the defender, gets caught in the corner but digs it out wraps behind the net and find Kovalchuk in the slot. Tarasenko is looking like a world class playmaker today! I certainly doesn't help to have one of the best finishers in the game to play with but his playmaking ability is fantastic..

Yep, he's assisted on 2 of Kovalchuk's goals and another assist on Dallman's goal
