Yeah, I mentioned that scene in my post above. It's the type of unbelievable stuff the writers have been doing for the past two years. It should be a bit more challenging to pull that off, if not nearly impossible. It didn't even need to be in the episode.
Honestly, I prefer that they just let us assume that he found a blind spot in their security rather than what they were doing a few seasons ago of him getting out of progressively trickier situations by thinner and thinner margins. I prefer to just suspend my disbelief that he found a weakness to having him just barely escape for the 4000th time.
I bet it is part of his character development and that he is meant to look kind of gaunt. Remember, there is going to be a storyline with his sobriety this season, as Angel needs him to clean up his act.

Well maybe. Either way the entire scene was rushed and way too easy. The entire time I was thinking.... "He's pulling this **** at an international airport.." I felt that storyline was crammed in to an otherwise good episode.
LaGuerta manages to spot a blood slide from that distance amongst debris and under a grate. Ooooookkkkkay!
She’s a cop!

So who is the big bad for this season? Lewis? The Russian mafia? Or will they just focus on Dexter and him trying to slip away from Deb and LaGuerta?
I think all of the above. I'm interested in seeing how Yvonne Strahovski will be linked. Ex-stripper for the Russian mob?
I don't know if he'll be slipping away from Deb or she'll be covering his tracks. She pretty much knows everything now, so she'll either play a role in suppressing his dark passenger or she sees what her dad tried to do and takes his place alongside Dexter to take justice in their own hands (vigilante siblings ). At the end of the day he's killing criminals (even though that's ****ed up).
Great ending to last episode, really makes you think he's questioning taking her out
Yeah, I got that vibe too... Enjoyed that episode, had a different feel to it than your typical Dexter episode.
I wonder how he'll keep the Russians off him, though... Just seems like it'd be impossible on his part, to have a whole gang coming after you, and being just a lone guy on your end.
You know, one thing I don't like is how Deb found Dexter's kill tools and trophies so damned quickly.
Didn't he usually just keep the kill tools in the chest in his bedroom closet? I can see her finding that, although the AC unit and slides is a bit of a stretch... Although she is a detective, so it's not like it was his retarded sister looking for stuff.
Just wanted to say that I absolutely adore whoever that actress is who plays the police chief/Deter's kind of sister. I've only seen a few episodes but dear God in Heavan she is a devine creature.

Incredible body... but my God she has a punchable face. Her character she portrays doesn't help her case either, not that it really has anything to do with it.
